Coming from a Titanium Elite Marriott member, a Diamond Hilton member and someone that travels 200+ days a year. This is one of the top 3 hotels I have ever stayed in. The customer service, attention to detail, and amenities have blown me away. The heated floors, custom furniture, breakfast, selection of teas/coffees daily, the list goes on. This hotel is a MUST STAY!

I'll always pick this hotel when I'm staying in Mountain View. The rooms are great. Very comfortable bed, all the amenities you need, roomy, clean, fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for getting to work or anywhere else and there's always parking available.

The location is great, the bedrooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is included, and the staff is kind and polite.
I had trouble sleeping there though, because there are too many lights in the room.

Friendly service and big rooms with huge TV screen. They also offer a free shuttle to go around in the area in the mornings + free bikes. Breakfast is also nice to have (but nothing special).
There were 1-2 power outages during my stay, but they probably affected the whole area, so not much the hotel can do. The sound-proofing in the rooms could also be improved a bit - in general the hotel seems to be a retrofitted motel, so e.g. the window goes out to the walkway, which might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Rooms: Big rooms with a large TV screen + bed. Most amenities that you would expect (including microwave + coffee maker). Sound-proofing could be improved (I heard my neighbors sometimes). Used to be motel rooms, so the window is facing the walkways where other guests walk around and can look into your room easily.
Walkability: Some basic shops + In-N-Out Burger nearby. To get to the "downtown" area of Mountain View you can take a bike provided for free by the hotel, which takes around 15 minutes.

The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and the amenities are amazing! The Owners are so thoughtful and helpful, they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. When in this area, it’s the only place we stay!

Hotel Strata is a fine top-notch establishment run by some very amiable folks. Dilip, Rajiv and Kirit were all great hosts and a delight to interact with.
The rooms are high-tech, have all the amenities you might require and they have complimentary breakfast options and a free 24*7 pantry to boot.
If this fits your budget or you're planning for a corporate travel partner, I can wholeheartedly recommend them. Loved my stay here :)

I have to travel to MTV every year for work and finding a hotel throughout the years has been meh at best.
Decided to try this hotel given recommendations and it surpassed my expectations. For those who are looking for a hotel with real hot water ? and good pressure, this is it! The rooms are very modern and lovely. Everyone I interacted with on staff was super friendly and helpful.
Rooms were a good size, the bed was very comfortable, there was a large tv but I never turned it on. WiFi was solid since I did use one day to work a few hours prior to heading to campus.
I didn’t try the breakfast provided or the fitness center for those wanting a review on those.
Also the location is very convenient. I will definitely be giving this hotel another try and will recommend it to others.

Strata is the pinnacle of hotel stays. Room service will clean your sheets, cork your wine, and replace your towels no matter what. Truly the best of hotels.

Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. And I’ve traveled a lot. I’ve stayed in hotels in Tennessee, New York, Orlando, Miami, Ohio, Michigan, Orlando, Toronto, as well as in South Korea, Malaysia, other Asian countries, and Costa Rica in Latin America. The attention given by the staff here is incredible. Honestly, I’ve never been to a place where... First, it’s a family-run hotel, right? And that adds so much to the experience. Second, one of the standout things is the personalization. The rooms are amazing, with every amenity that makes you feel truly pampered and well taken care of. I can’t think of another hotel that has made me feel this level of care. The owner, his son, the whole family—they are always checking in to make sure you feel good.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend any other hotel over this one. There are big chains, luxury hotels and all that, but the attention you’ll find here, it’s unmatched. I am so grateful to the owner, Dilip Patel, for all the attention he gave me, and to his son as well.
I’m just one person, but still, they made me feel so special. Congratulations to them for the incredible human touch they bring. If you compare this to other big chains, you’ll never find this level of treatment. These are people who genuinely make you feel good, right? Staying here, supporting them, you know they’re real, incredible human beings. Truly, I can’t recommend them enough.

I'm extremely fond of Strata Hotel & all of their staff. They are so considerate in all ways -- they really think of everything and you are well taken care of. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and upgraded, and the service is phenomenal. Thank you Strata, can't wait to stay there again!

It was my first visit to Mountain View / CA , but the staff of the Hotel Strata made me feel so safe, approachable and of course helpful in every manner. Right from the moment I checked-in , it was a warm welcome by Ms Guneet and the facilities and room was top notch.
I stayed for 10 nights but never had to regret anything about my hotel selection. Room was super spacious ( my room was King Suite ) , complimentary breakfast was too good ( one of the hot breakfast also includes Indian delicacies ) . This review will not do justice if i do not mention the good connect i had with the owners of the hotel Mr Dilip and Mr Kirit ( they are always around to help you) , the complementary drop to office and the ride by Mr Kirit is also so insightful. House keeping does a wonderful job each and every day. I would definitely stay in Hotel Strata whenever i visit next. Location of the hotel is also spot on , you can explore some nearby places like downtown Mountain view. Hotel has laundromat , water purifier to refill your drinking water bottles , mini bar , gym, nice sit out place and a nice and cozy place to have breakfast. You can grab coffee and few to-go items like yogurt etc round the clock ( any yes the hotel does not charge for it )
P.S. The nice gesture by Mr Dilip to keep a small teddy bear in my room for my kid back home is something unexpected ( my son likes it very much and has named in "new baby" )

There was a power outage earlier, but the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We still enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and they even recommended many great local attractions. Highly recommended! No wonder this is my husband’s top choice for accommodations in Mountain View.

If you're looking for exceptional hospitality and thoughtful service, I highly recommend them! After a long, tiring interstate trip, I arrived at the hotel feeling exhausted and famished. The staff immediately offered a thoughtful gesture with a water bottle and recommended a fantastic nearby Indian restaurant. Their attentiveness and friendliness truly stood out.The daily breakfast was well-curated, with poha being my favorite! Check-in and check-out were smooth and handled with utmost politeness. The shuttle service to office was a great bonus. On my first morning, although I missed the shuttle by 5mins, the reception kindly offered to call the driver, which I appreciated despite having already booked a separate ride. Overall, a wonderful stay! I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip. Thanks to the entire team for making my stay so pleasant and comfortable.
