Very happy to have found this shop. They appear to run a very tight ship in order to keep from taking on more business than they can handle and therefore turnaround times are usually within a day. I mostly communicated with Leane who is absolutely lovely. The shop is very forthright about their plans for a vehicle and will go the extra mile for their customers. My vehicle became a bit of a puzzle and they took the time to troubleshoot for hours without trying to price gouge. A customer will always feel heard there. A huge thank you to everyone I spoke to today and in past visits. This will be my shop as long as I live in the Bay Area.

They are absolutely the best!!! The front desk people are very friendly and knowledgeable.I live in Lodi and drive to Mountain View to have them service my truck.That may sound crazy but well worth it!!!

Amazing amazing amazing!!! I had one place tell me I needed a $1k fix and my father recommended a 2nd opinion...they saved me all that, fixed a huge issue that no one else figured out, AND they are kind and fair. If I could give them 6 stars I would, I'll definitely keep coming back!

For many years we have known that whatever problems we are having with our two cars, Helming's will be able to diagnose what is wrong and make the necessary repairs. A comprehensive explanation is always given to us in advance and an estimate of the repair cost. Sometimes the details are too complicated for me, like a pre-op doctor's visit! However, we fully trust Helming's knows best. In addition, the cost is very fair compared to estimates received from the dealership or other auto repair services. They have earned and deserve a 5 + star rating.

What a fantastic Auto repair shop. Everything from scheduling an appointment to diagnostics, repair, communications, drop off, pickup - everything is top notch professional and efficient. I had to bring 2 of my cars for repair in the past 12 month on 3 different occasions (Air conditioner, bearings, CV Axels). The experience was absolutely great. Thank you!!

Team Helming’s is very knowledgeable about cars. I took my 18 y.o. Mini here for an oil change and check-in on a few things. I had a couple small leaks, and they fixed everything right up. These folks are good people, and I trust them with my car.

Leane was fantastic to work with and truly went above and beyond. She got me scheduled ASAP and was so friendly and kind. It turned out that I had incorrect work performed at another auto shop before I moved to California. Leane helped me read through the old invoices and work orders to discover this, and even gave me some advice on how to handle the (incredibly stressful and disappointing!) situation with the other auto shop. I was able to recoup the cost of the work performed at that shop and it was such a relief! Helming’s then performed the fix actually needed on my car, with a super fast turnaround no less. They were responsive, trustworthy, and truly went above and beyond. Thank you Leane and team!!!
