I was very happy with most of the process. Scheduling went well, I didn't see any expensive marble waiting rooms with tie-clad service advisors to jack up the price, and they were careful to document the things they recommended with pictures and get my approval in advance. I was in for a routine servcie and their inspection process seems to be quite good. They completed the work quickly and the price wasn't cheap, but nor was it over the top.
I would give them 5 stars except for one thing: they hounded me for reviews like crazy, including texting me several days, including Sunday at 8am (zzzz). I'm sure it is an automated system, but they need to turn down the volume on it.
Note: I was going to "Griffin Auto Works", but I think they are changing names to "Level Up Auto Styling".
If you don't mind the hounding, it's a good shop.

I was personally recommended to come here by a friend and I was so glad I did. I have a tiny smart car and I am always unsure if a shop knows how to work on my car. Dennis was personable and friendly and honest with what needed to be done with my car. Very grateful to have found a shop in the Bay Area!

My car had an engine problem and I decided to go for an engine replacement. When I brought the car to Dennis to have the engine taken care of, I was provided with top quality service. Dennis was very patient with me and answered all the questions that I had about the procedure. No hard pressure sales just plain friendly and honest service. My car was driving great when the replacement was done. I would definitely recommend Dennis with your car problems or servicing!

This is only my 2nd time writing a review & the 1st time was 8months ago for a restaurant. Anyways Dennis is the owner of this shop and I highly recommend him. He’s an honest mechanic and he doesn’t rip you off. He figures out the problem & lets you know right away what the problem is. He’s not like other mechanics they just want your money and they always find something wrong with your car. Dennis is a honest hardworking mechanic. I moved from Maui & I got recommended to him by a great friend of mines & I'm glad I listened. If ever something is wrong with my car Dennis is the person I call right away. Thank you for your honesty, and not ripping people off.

I really appreciate the service Dennis provided, installing my new water pump/changing the oil has my vehicle working excellent, the convenience of fitting me in his busy schedule is also excellent and the price for the part and installation is affordable. Older Volvo was running very rough, Griffin’s has maintained this car for years and once again they came through - diagnosed the problem, replaced the bad parts, and did a regular service - fast, very reasonable prices, definitely will continue to use Griffin’s for all my auto needs. Thanks!
