The worst. I was assigned to Dr. Geeta through my insurance and wanted to give this doctor a chance. Dr. Geeta Krishnapriyan has the worst bed side manner. Every time I am there for a yearly check up or any health related issues, she talks over me just as I am still discussing my issues with her. Extremely unprofessional and I won’t even discuss the things she said to me when I came to follow up with back pains I had. I do not recommend this doctor.

I had the misfortune to interact with this doctor when a nurse had to ask an on call doctor a question. This doctor will go through great lengths to invalidate all the pain and symptoms you have. Don't bother seeing her, she'll just tell you your symptoms are psychosomatic and then refuse to help.

I made an appointment through Stanford as I needed a referral for a specialist. I explained this when I made the appointment. She asked some questions and told me she could not help but would refer me to a specialist. A few weeks later there was no call or referral so I contacted her to ask and she sent an email stating 'I made a referral'. I asked what that meant and I what I should do to get the appointment and received no reply. So basically I have to start over again. Of course she collected from insurance and billed me so will get paid for appointment (5 minute consult).

Mislead on billingI felt a little rushed during the appointment, but my biggest complaint was that I was mislead about payment. My insurance covers one doctor's visit a year, so when the staff was setting up a followup, I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to come. The staff said that followups should be covered under that one visit, so I agreed to go to the followup (which ended up being entirely unnecessary). However, Stanford still billed me, claiming my followup was actually a separate visit. I tried to fight it but nothing happened. I feel very angry and mislead about it all.

Be aware while you visit this doctor. More importantly be proactive and carful what they bill you for. We visited for annual health check (which is of no cost) but later she billed us for something else and over that she edits factually incorrect notes of meetup. I am still surprise how can one do like this.Never ever recommend the doc.not patient enough to listen and not ethical at all in terms of finances.

She follows her standardized basic procedure for all patients, nothing that a quick google search can't suggest.

A doctor with subpar ethics.Dr. Geeta has been my doctor for past few years and I do go for annual physical each year. Due to COVID restrictions, I have been doing blood work and follow-up visit via telemedicine. In July 2021, I did the blood work and had a telemedicine follow up visit with this doctor and I was not charged anything considering the coverage with annual physical. In March 2022, this doctor simply decided to make some extra bucks. I did the blood work and telemedicine follow up visit but this time doctor marked this as a outpatient visit,When I contacted her office, I was initially told that there needs to be a gap of 365 days and I was asked to check with my insurance. My insurance covers annual physical and there is no 365 days gap requirement in doing annual physical.I reached back to this doctor's office and this time I got a long email from Sara Lurker (office manager) writing one full page email and explaining to me that the annual physical needs to be in office. Because of COVID restrictions, I was asked to do telemedicine appointment and now they are saying that annual physical needs to be in office visit.Apart from this, I highly doubt credentials of this doctor. She is not pleasant to speak with.

Dr. Krishna is a fast-paced physician with a focus on healthy body weight. She'll get you in and out quickly if your BMI index is in compliance. The office a bit difficult to contact because you have to spend time in a phone system listening to generic messages before you can leave a message, and they rarely call back. I have not found a way to directly call a live person. The billing department can be quite difficult to deal with because it is some other company. I had a dispute because they charged me for some weight loss consultation after a routine physical. My insurance doesn't cover weight loss consultation, and I certainly didn't ask for it, but after long calls I gave up and ended up paying for the 5-minute lecture I endured. I don't consider myself overweight by the way, it's really not why I go to the doctor.I would recommend Dr. Krishna if you have no health issues and want to see a doctor for routine things without spending much time.I used to be a patient at Dr. Krishna for about 20 years. All the best to her and her staff.

The worst Doctor I have ever been to. She does not listen and can not root cause the problem. Very rude as well.

Person at the Reception was so absent minded and was lost on her phone. She asked me to go to a lab for tests where my tests were not ordered. Even when I showed her the Google results to ensure we are talking about the same place, she made a make mistake.

I will never visit this doctor again. I visited Dr Geeta in March 2019 and I felt she was not at all interested in listening to my concern and she was in a rush. But I thought probably i am wrong it's my first visit but this time I got my Covid 19 positive and I contacted her again and felt same, even my husband also felt the same way. She is not at all interested, for my joining back to work my employer needed some documentation from her and i had to remind her every single day (for 1 month) to return those to my employer. Every time her assistant (Stephanie) replied that i will send documents over to Dr Krishna to sign but never hear anything back from them.As a result i lost my benefits i am getting from state because of their careless attitude. On top of that if you call them it goes to voicemail stating they will respond you back in 24 hour, they will never call you back or email you back. You need to remind them thousands of time.

Don't go to this doctor/office, after not getting treated for some ear pain I was having, and after clear negligence, that led to an ear infection that should've been treated on the spot. Instead, had to go urgent care at Stanford where I actually got treated for the ear pain & got my ears flushed with water properly. I found an ear doctor that was able to treat my ear eczema as well in Menlo Park. After sharing my experience of having alcoholic parents/depression I was experiencing at that time, she prescribed me escitapralam (lexapro), without getting a diagnosis by a formal psychiatrist. I had to seek out help for mental health services, and her clear disregard was so disappointing to me This was probably the worst experience, and bed side manner I've ever experienced, and have ended up trying to find another PCP in the area I live because of this.
