I scheduled an appointment for a second ear piercing. I hadn't had my ears pierced in decades, so I didn't know what to expect. Mark was very patient, asking what earrings I usually wear, and spending a great deal of effort measuring to ensure that my new piercings would be in just the right place. When it came time for the jab, he was very comforting, reassuring me that it wouldn't hurt too badly.

Awesome spot! the glass is so unique and the T-shirt selection is siiick (in a good way). There is a wonderful gal that has been there for quite sometime and she is always smiling and helping out! She is the BEST, one of the main reasons I will be going back.

We had a great piercing experience with Mark. My teenage son wanted to get both his ears pierced, Mark had a great choice of suitable studs for a guy and had a selection all sterilized so he could easily choose. He took great care marking out the placement of the studs, checking it several times to make sure it was central and even on both sides. The piercing was quick and painless and all parts of the procedure and aftercare were explained well. When one of the piercings came out a couple of days later (our fault), Mark came into the shop , even though it was his day off, and put it back in for no charge. I cannot recommend this shop enough, Mark was very personable and the whole experience has been great all the way through.

This shop is a staple in the Bay! I grew up in Palo Alto and I have been shopping here since I turned 18. I still have some quality glass pieces that I purchased from Fatty Zone that remain in my collection today. I stopped in recently to buy a new grinder and picked up a nice new Santa Cruz shredder. So glad to see the Fatty Zone is still going strong. I'll continue to return when I am visiting the area.

Made last min appointment to get my 2nd nostril piercing. I originally went elsewhere & the piercer gave me a post that was way too short so i had to take it out & get it repierced after i developed a bump & it just wouldn't go away. Came to Mark, he was quick, efficient & very nice. We found jewelry that would most match my other side and before I knew it, it was done and I was on my way. The cost is no match. The other place I went charged me $180 after all was said & done...no special jewelry, no gold or anything like that..at Fatty Zone: i walked out paying $79 with the jewelry. WHAT! Def coming back here for other piercing needs & tshirts for my son as they carry a nice variety of metal shirts.

LOVE this place. The shop is roomy, colorful, and well-stocked with treats for every type of connoisseur. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful, especially Alexa. She's my favorite person there, and she excels at her job. She went out of her way to find a specific product that I had mentioned wanting for my daughter (saw one in SF for $10, a very small glass container with a silicone lid that looked like Jack Skellington's face), and she bought multiples of it in different styles and had them on the shelf my next visit there, for $3! Yeah, she rocks.
