Wanted to share our ongoing great experience with Vanessa. She always greets us with happiness and makes the kids feel comfortable. She is full of smiles and we are very happy to have her with the kids. We’ve had summer camp with her for the past two years and we saw her again this winter break in Mountain View. She’s amazing!!We love the day camps. Plenty of activities for kids and they enjoy the field trips as well. Great program.

I love the spirit of the Y! This holiday event today is exactly why I'm a proud Y member. This location has such thoughtful management and instructors. It's been my village, my tribe, since 2003, and especially so through the pandemic shutdown. I believe it's a flagship Y location - it's a bright and cheerful environment. I find the facilities to be clean & thoughtfully managed. The classes have warm welcoming, well trained instructors. There are many niche spaces for specific activities like stretching/weights/pilates... including a small room for boxing-ilk training. The gym is a wonderful multipurpose space for BBall, pickle ball, YBall, fitness classes, & various special events. Good array of treadmills, ellipticals, rowers, cycling machines - most are mindful of wait times. Free weights and machine weights can be busy weekday evenings but the crowds thin out after 7. Free WiFi! Cleaning supplies - spray bottles/rags - plenty for all. Most importantly... Towel and coffee service is back!

The facilities are great. Super clean, well maintained, and easy to access. And there's a ton of equipment. Love it

The most pathetic set of dumbbells in all the YMCAs I’ve ever been in, it’s insulting. They don’t even fit in the shelf they’re on so they’re left around wherever. The Palo Alto Y has a much better set. These dumbbells are so deteriorated. The stretching mats in the room next to the dumbbells are disgusting, deteriorated, in desperate need of replacing. There is ONE long one. The rest of them are so permanently bent they’re unstable to use.The foot strap in the bike machine is permanently broken and never fixed despite being so easy to replace.Truly pathetic maintenance. These people only care about hosting group classes and private training sessions. Very poorly managed.

Wide and pleasant place, as long as you are not of a minority, or simply looks “different”. The prejudice is patetic, the staff is rude and double faced. I witnessed an episode of harassment, and prejudice that was disgusting. Shame on you Y El Camino.

Staff were very friendly and professional, I was quickly set up for a complimentary one week to try out the facilities, lap pool open most of the day, clean and nice facilities and convenience to work made the El Camino Y a wonderful place! Plus discounts for El Camino Health employees!

Hours are pretty limited. There are days they close early specially on the weekends. The membership are expensive and design for older population. Equipment and the gym are clean and in good order. But if you are on the go and would want to come to the gym at your own convenient hours this fitness center would not be for you. For retirees who is not doing anything during day it may be a good fit.

I LOVE to swim and the egym!!! I want to recognize the following staff members who make my experience most enjoyable: Roberto, Elizabeth, Chase, Lynette, and Anthony.

There are many group classes to choose from through the day. However, if you like to dance midday you are out of luck during the week. The facility is clean and the employees are helpful. There is a barre class that is EXCELLENT! Zumba is always fun!

Coming from an employee of the summer camp program, NEVER WORK HERE! Working here you immediately get greeted with directors who have atrocious attitudes and expect their staff to be perfect robot workers while making it very clear to you that they do not want to be there and behave as if it's just a paycheck. Trust me, you will hear it at least once a day that a director/supervisor says they don't want to be there. This is only the first step of the toxic work environment created by higher ups who work purely on emotion which makes the workplace extremely dysfunctional. In addition, the favoritism is absolutely crazy. Especially because these people are probably the worst workers there but since they have the directors behind them, they can do no wrong. This workplace is just constantly people throwing each other under the bus. At the end of the day, it is ridiculous to expect your workers to come in everyday excited to get these kids to have fun when the ones in charge have the opposite goal. While we slave away burning in the hot sun doing our very best for the majority of us it is our first time working with kids, the directors get to sit in there air conditioned room acting like writing emails is hard. Unless you can kiss butt enough to become one of their favorites so you don't have to do your job, don't waste your time.

I really like the aqua fitness (water aerobics) classes at the El Camino YMCA's outdoor pool. I've been coming to these classes for quite a while now. Excellent instructors, & plenty of room to move, even when classes are fairly full. The facilities are also very nice & well maintained. It is OFTEN hard to park tho - that lot fills up fast (& I think folks who are not supposed to park there have started doing so, it's gotten much worse in the past 6 months)

very spacious place to work out , huge gym with large windows allowing me to look at the surrounding nature while on treadmill or stationary bike. I love taking classes at this location as they offer many programs that are fun and also a good work out. Checkout this YMCA . You will love it .

The Y is the place I began to focus on my own health journey and found the Y to be positive. The Y staff meets you where you are and supports you! They have always been welcoming and never intimidating. It's a safe and supportive place. Our community would be lacking without the Y and the services they provide to members and the community. They are continually striving to improve even against difficult challenges
