They have everything you would need for a dancer at the store. They are always very helpful and the shoe sizes are usually all in stock.

Cute little shop for all your dance / gymnastics needs. They carry a lot of inventory so I've never had an issue not finding my daughter's size. They know all the local dance studios and can help you with what is required for a particular dance in that studio!

Amazing customer service, the owner is very caring when it comes to fittings, and makes sure that we feel good in the shoe. When the system had a tiny error with size, she gifted me a new shoe free of charge. This kindness touched me deeply. Also, she cam answer any question about shoes, and gives great advice for pointe shoes. Would recommend this shop to anyone! ??

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Absolutely horrible customer service.Drove all the way here based on another review saying that store associates are very accommodating. Well, they're not! At all. Wouldn't even try.We wanted to buy Pointe shoes. The lady at the counter said she'll check with the shoe fitter. Came back and completely ignored us. Her coworker asked if we were helped and were told the shoe fitter left for the day. The first lady wouldn't talk to us, only to her coworker. We were standing there, not sure what to do. Asked multiple questions to finally understand, they will not help us in any way or sell any shoes for that matter.So rude!While It doesn't say anywhere on the website that you need to make an appointment for point shoe fitting, it turns out, you do . Also, there's no way to make this appointment online. Not sure if you can do it on the phone. You need to come to the store to make it.Well, our business goes back to SF gear.

Small shop that sells dance gear fromshoes to clothes. They also help fit you with the shoes, which is a great help. Very helpful and highly recommend this place.

The day before YAGP, my daughter still couldn't find a right pair of pointe shoes due to global supply chain shortage, until we tried this place. The store doesn't have my daughter's normal shoe either. But the owner worked out a temporary solution for my daughter. My daughter was able to break in the nicely fitted shoes over one night, and performed well. We have been to majority of the ballet stores in bay area from South Bay to San Francisco. The is absolutely the best one. The owner is knowledgeable. She also tells beginners how to take care of their feet, pointe shoes, and what to expect and etc. This is super critical for new dancer on pointe. We love the store owner. Even my daughter is not a beginner anymore, we still get all pointe shoes from this store. My daughter thinks the shoe quality from this store is stable, and she 100% trusts the owner's advice. For pointe shoe fitting, please make appointment before hand. She is very popular. :-)

Lisa is wonderful and attentive. She spent time with my daughter in the original pointe shoe fitting and discussed preventative injuries with pointe ballet. Each time we returned to replace a pointe shoe, she ensures that the fitting is correct.

This is specifically about the pointe shop fittings that we have gone for twice already. I hate to give this place a bad review, but I feel that other families who do not know much about ballet need to know this. It's the first time I feel my review has ethical implications because many more girls' feet may be damaged as a result! This place is recommended by my daughter's dance studio. I did not know any other places (nor other dance families) and assumed this must be a good place to get fitted for pointe. Unfortunately, after 2 pairs and hundreds of dollars spent, my daughter learned that there are many types of pointe shoes, with different box widths, vamp depth/height etc. and she had been fitted with the wrong type of pointe shoes. There was no mention of any of these factors to consider when my daughter went for her fitting. No questions asked that should have been asked at pointe shoe fittings, e.g. "Is the vamp too high?" whatsoever. She was simply told that they only carried one brand, and that a particular style of that brand "fits most people" and then she tried on 2 sizes of the same make and brand of pointe, and then asked to rise on pointe. The first pair was too tight within a very short span of time, and we went in for a longer pair. Now, my daughter finally realizes why her pointe shoes cut into her feet and why her toes sink too deep into the box and all sorts of problems. She was fitted with the wrong type of pointe shoe! After doing my research and shamelessly approaching non-friends who have ballet experience, I realized that a good pointe shoe fitting is nothing like what my daughter has experienced at this place. I felt conned, actually. To think I gave this place so much support! I'm writing this because every parent needs to know what to look out for before you let your child go for a pointe fitting, especially the first time. Do not simply go to the recommended shop and believe that the staff would know which shoe fits your child.

Very capable shop manager and clerk able to handle a very busy place. Helped with kids sizing, and even had some of the local ballet schools uniforms memorized. Prices higher than online but good service is worth it.

Love this store! It's so nice having a local store in Mountain View that sells dance apparel and shoes. They have a nice selection and sales sometimes! Definitely check this place out.
