This CVS pharmacy just wasted my valuable time and gas $$ by removing my filled prescription on the last day that they texted me it would be available. I was unable to pick it up any earlier because of my travel schedule. If you notify me that today is the last day for pickup, then it better damn be available today during Pharmacy hours, during which I was at the Pharmacy counter. I never encountered such unacceptable performance on the basics at my old CVS location. The CVS Pharmacist should get her/his pharmacy business in order. I am looking for a different pharmacy and related store at this point. NOTE: The person helping me at the counter was very diligent in looking for my prescription, which she verified was available, upon looking it up in the Pharmacy's system. But after looking for 5 minutes or more and not finding it, and the line of Pharmacy patrons building behind me, I opted to let it be refilled at more cost for CVS and me, but it will be lost revenue for CVS when I take my business elsewhere.

Prince and Luis, CVS employees at the El Monte Ave, Mtn. View store, provided outstanding customer service in printing out photos that were of very high quality in the perfect sizes, all while being very patient with me as I needed assistance with this process.

My doctor called in my prescription 4 days ago. The CVS app kept telling me “they were working on it” and finally changed to tell me to contact the pharmacy to see my options. I show up and the pharmacist just asks me if the medication was right - that’s what I had to do???!! . The app never said that! I show up on day 5 to check what’s going on to be told the CVS app doesn’t connect with the pharmacy’s stock level and to come back the next day to pick it up. They didn’t even check if they had it! This is why people show up pissed when their prescription isn’t ready even though any normal pharmacy never tells you when it’s ready. Probably because they haven’t done it! CVS needs to be replaced by another pharmacy that’s more reliable. This is the second one in the area that is like this so I think it’s a problem with the company itself and not the individual locations.

Can take a little while to get on the phone with the pharmacist but once you manage to get through, the actual interaction is succinct and useful. I can work with that!

My request to have my prescriptions earlier was sent while in the parking lot. Walked in and did my shopping first, fell in line about the 4th person and my prescriptions were ready! First time experience for such an expedited request!

The nice lady @ the checkout recommended I join the CVS club for a discount on the items I wanted to buy & discounts I will get on future purchases. She was very nice, a good salesperson & helped me save a lot of money. So glad I decided to shop at CVS that day

This is the worst CVS I’ve ever been to - truly unbelievable. The wait time is consistently over 30 minutes for a simple RX pick up, they have “lost” my prescriptions twice (?), and the staff is rude and unhelpful. I’ve tried coming here on more than 5 occasions, and each time is worse than the last. Please spare yourself and choose a different CVS.

Came here today to get my Covid booster. Sung checked me in and gave me my shot. I barely felt the shot. Sung was very friendly and quick. I wish all of my CVS experiences were as pleasant.

Walked in to have a flu shot. There was a line but was ok. However they told me it’s by appt only. While on your website you said both walk-in and appt are ok. And there is no any sign inform people before they wait in the line. And, there is no line for the vaccine! Stop waiting people’s time and put the correct information on your website and in store!

I don't know why the rating is so low here. Maybe because they are extremely busy having taken over the prescriptions from the closed Miramonte location- and maybe others. But they are always very pleasant and try hard to accommodate. At Miramonte they didn't seem to care much about their customers, so I appreciate the staff at El Monte.

Love this store! Pleasant, helpful employees and it's large, so there's a great selection of anything I need. They lost a star because - in violation of state law - they don't allow the public to use their restrooms.

I had a prescription filled here for a 90 day supply @ 8 pills per week (90 * 8/7 ~= 103 pills). I arrived at 7:45 to pick up the pills, and there were only 60. I pointed out the error, they took the pills back and said they'd reissue it. I waited, and they closed up shop at 8pm, but I waited longer expecting the pharmacist to bring me my pills on her way out. Instead, she asks me "can I help you?". I inquired about my prescription. "You need to come back tomorrow. It is closing time now." They said absolutely nothing about being unable to correct their error while I waited, even as they saw me standing around. Was I unreasonable to expect that they would correct their error on the spot, instead of declaring that I'd need to waste an additional 30 min to return the next day?

Easy to park clean inside very wide store compared to others. The area is very safe and nice. The parking lot is clean. They use needles which is nice..
