Check-in was easy. I made the reservation directly through the hotel. The hotel is simi-close to the Shoreline amphitheater and they had decent prices compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel has two levels so you can hear the people upstairs moving around. Also, the rooms are not sound proof. I saw some ants around the sink area. Also, the air conditioner unit was super loud and woke me up every time it clicked on (watch video). This hotel worked for what we needed and the sheets seemed clean and the mattress was decent once I removed the fitted sheet. I didn't see any bed bugs. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and the hotel room was pretty spacious. Please see pictures and videos.

AC didn’t really work which was a bit annoying and it was hot. But this place is fine. I would stay there again. Kind of not near anything but things are that far away.

Check-in was a little slow, but it was understandable since I arrived late. However, after receiving the room, I checked various things and the room was clean, but the smell was a bit small inside and there were ants coming out of the bed, which was a bit unpleasant.
Lastly, the air conditioner didn't work, so it felt a bit hot all night long.
Rooms: The room smelled a bit like urine, which was a bit unpleasant. And although Agoda said there was a hair dryer, there was no hair dryer.
And there were ants in the room, so I saw them moving around on the bed.

I don’t really talk to them except for checking in and checking out but they seem like nice enough people. Very close to my place where I live and also reasonable prices. It’s not luxury, but it’ll do. Very basic but also clean and they have bathtubs, which are nice. They have a pool and that’s pretty nice too and the parking is free. These days it’s such a nice touch.
Nearby activities: One might want to drive to get where they need to go but very close by
Safety: I parked near the office and I’ve never had a problem.

We chose County Inn in Mountain View because it was within walking distance of our family’s apartment and the price was reasonable. The king bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The room was a nice size. If just a few things were fixed/updated, I would give it a better rating. The shower rod in the bathroom sags and, as such, the shower curtain did not close completely. If the screws holding the bar were tightened and magnets placed in the corner pockets of the curtain, I think that would fix the problem. The shower head was very short for my 6’4” husband.
The clock radio is an antique and one lamp shade should be replaced.
The complimentary breakfast didn’t start until 7:30 on weekdays and 8:00 on weekends. This is inconvenient for travelers wanting an early start. And, it had very limited gluten free options.
It was interesting to note that the ice bucket had a Days Inn logo and the cups mentioned Wyndham.
Daily maid service was nice, but not necessary. We could have done with less frequent.
Overall, County Inn served our purpose for our Mountain View temporary home.

County Inn is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at simply because they have jacuzzi hot |ub rooms and very clean hotel. However we just discovered cockroaches here at our last stay in April 2024. OMG thats it we can never return here again until they spray the entire property to get rid of these big roaches in the downstairs rooms with jacuzzi tub.
I was freaked out and at 3am had to leave the property asap and I threw out every single item I brought with me to hotel that visit. YES EVERY ITEM WENT INTO OUTSIDE TRASH AREA.
THATS A HUGE ISSUE MANAGEMENT. DO NOT HAVE FULL TRASH BINS SO CLOSE TO HOTEL ROOMS ON RIGHTSIDE OF HOTEL NEAR 100S. MOVE THOSE TRASH BINS FROM THAT AREA. Thats why roaches are there. To much food, trash with food, liquids for roaches to come and have food for them.
Maybe also remove the outdated sinks and closets that are in the rooms now. Roaches are most likely under sink area near door entrance and enclosed closet area, dark, cool. A good spot for critters to hang out and crawl around. Please spray for an entire YEAR on regular basis. When you can show you have done that then we would be happy to return as regular guest going there at least 3 times a month like we used to until we discovered the Roaches. Best of Luck to County Inn to start avid pest control spraying (Roaches and eggs). April 2024 last reservation booked and left at 3AM in the morning.
Shocked, purely shocked to see Large Roach inside the room, 1st floor, right by the entrance door. Sad sad stay
Rooms: Heart wrenching we discovered a big black cockroach in our room. Very dissappointing as this hotel has always been very clean, maids do an excellent job cleaning. We believe there are roaches because there is a big trash dumpster very close to downstairs hotel rooms (100s) rooms with jetted tubs most likely will experience critters in their room. Check under the sink in front hallway as you walk in and dark areas like the closet near bathroom.
We can never return to this hotel ever again unless they spend quite some time spraying for pests, insects, over several months to a year. Otherwise we are not interested in staying at County Inn no matter what the rate is.
We don't care if it was $50 a night. Still we will never return to this hotel until they are serious about resolving this cockroach problem.
Management, please do something immediately to fix this issue. Please

Absolutely horrible experience. Room is not habitable. Heater cover was broken and hanging. Musty smell.Dirty furniture. Bathtub is nasty. Bath door is literally broken. See pictures just so you know I am not exaggerating.

Nothing too special. Yet nothing too bad. Pretty quiet upstairs room. Solo business trip. Free WiFi and a free breakfast. The breakfast is served at 8am in a clubhouse. Waffle maker, bagels, muffins, cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, OJ, Etc. The King sized bed was comfortable and seemed clean. It appears they have a washer and dryer for those on longer stays. Downtown area with many dining choices super close by. There's also a Chevron gas station next door. The lobby sells snacks and drinks but you won't find those in your room. Single cup coffee maker and a tiny microwave.

Room was having a smell could be from cleaning liquids or something. Location is good though.
