7/8/2024 Congratulations, your store has been downgraded from 2 stars to 1 star. Went here to have a Drone XC dashcam installed. They hooked up all the wires and stuck it to the windshield, but they did not activate it, leaving me with a plastic brick. When I asked about it, they shrugged and said they didn't now enough about it. This is coming from an authorized dealer. The device can only be activated by an authorized dealer, so I have paid $500 for nothing.
Update 7/8/2024: I called Drone's tech support (I had to wait till Monday because they are only open 5 days a week) and they informed me that rather than removing the existing Drone module and installing the XC system, the Geek Squad guy just installed the new one on top of it. So now there are two remote start units installed in my car, the old one is still active, and the new one does not work because it's not associated with my account.

This is the first review I have ever written in my life. My last two visits here have been so frustrating and it happened with 3 workers. I have been to this store for over a decade but now the new workers are horrible. I get if you're having a bad day and are tired but just do your job. The workers here acted like its the customers fault they need help. They were not rude workers but they are just lazy and have horrible attitudes. I even saw another worker with a horrible attitude towards another couple. I don't know what's going I hope its just a short term thing, but fix your attitude.

This review is about very bad customer service at this Best Buy store in Mountain View. The cashier’s name is Marcus. He’s very rude, unprofessional and argumentative. I told him many times that I was not interested in any marketing offers and just wanted to pay quickly and leave the store. However, he kept on interrupting me and telling me about the marketing offers. I told him that I was going to report him to the store manager because of his rude behavior. He told me that he didn’t care and he would not give me the store manager’s name. He also told me very rudely to move away and started talking to other people at the store. I found the customer service phone number and email posted on the front door at this store. However, when I called the phone number, nobody at Best Buy answered my phone call or even replied to my email regarding this issue. Will never give Best Buy my business again.
