“Nice clean store. Hope they have enough business once Safeway opens. It will still be more convenient for those in Wicklund and Bethany, but not for those in Altamont and Questa.”
“This place is now called "Michael's Market" and it currently sells Shell branded gas. Years ago this was a Valero station w/ a food shop. I don't come out to Discovery Bay too much anymore, but I stopped by for some gas and snacks on a Monday evening. Michael's Market is like a convenience store (c-store), but it's loaded with beer, wine and tobacco items. It has a fountain area and wide variety of snacks and candy. For awhile it was the only neighborhood shop around. But now the Discovery Bay shopping center is right next door. Yes, I saw the Confederate flag. But the clerk was friendly and helpful. I was wearing my work uniform w/ ID. People with jobs usually have money to spend. Michael's Market is a well stocked c-store that can save you a trip down the road to the Safeway shopping center. Shell gas prices were about average for the SF Bay Area. Located on the corner of Discovery Bay Blvd & Riverlake Rd.”

Good for the neighborhood , good people ,”

That is very special to me, because he has a lot of customers and for him to know each by name is remarkable. Taran takes is time to make sure you’ve had all the necessary shots and medication. I’ve never had a better pharmacist. I drive a long way to use this CVS because of his excellent customer service.”

The gas prices were also really great and these days, that's very important. If your driving through or live in Tracy! I highly recommend this gas station. Will he always stopping here on my trips now”

2430 Joe Pombo Pkwy, Tracy“I have gotten in the habit of picking my gas stations by both location AND what snacks they have. This particular station is a favorite for several reasons: convenience to the freeway (check), low prices (check), easy to get in and out (check), and good soda (check check). Someone at this station loves Cactus Cooler. It so happens I love Cactus Cooler and it can be hard to find. Walking in a finding it (consistently) is a real bonus. Even better, they added a car wash earlier this year. Some of the staff is really friendly and some isn't. I guess the two balance each other out. Terrific if you are paying cash because you don't have to go in the store. Recommended.”

What I'm trying to say is that this store had something that no other place had. To say the least they adapt to their Surroundings.”

vd, 550 Valpico Rd, Tracy“Their prices are great here. All the pumps are always working when I've gone here and it's not as busy and the other arco near the freeway. It's always clean and I like that they have a car wash. I haven't interacted with staff here before so I cannot comment on that. Their machines are always working, which I appreciate and employees all wear masks and take Covid precautions. They share a parking lot with McDonald's and Walgreens which makes this place a great stop at the beginning of your day or at the end.”

“I wish I had known this place existed. I brought my dead key fob in and had the battery replaced in less than 2 minutes and it only cost $10. I have been taking my key fobs to the dealership and paying $20 each time. This place definitely has my business from now on. Very efficient, very pleasant experience.”

“We were meeting friends in Half Moon Bay for a picnic and had promised to bring fried chicken. The Colonel was closed, but we read about Krispy and decided to try them. It’s in the convenience store in a gas station. Didn’t look too promising, but we were pleasantly surprised. They were just bringing out freshly cooked pieces of chicken and chicken tenders. Terrific! Everyone had their fill, nothing was left. Perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned plus a very pleasant staff!”

3400 N MacArthur Dr, Tracy“Over the years a stop in Tracy is the perfect thing for a break between Elk Grove and the bay area. Its just about the half way point. This isn't my preferred exit - I like the other one with In N Out and Star Casino but that one doesn't have a Chevron. For as long as I can remember we always stopped in Tracy. They used to have this restaurant Orchards - with special home made apricot syrups to put on your French Toast that was to die for. Thats gone now turned into Black Bear diner. Leaves the problem of finding that new perfect routine. One of my routines is to aim for Chevron fuel. German cars can be finicky and if an engine light turns on it can be like diagnosing one of Dr House's patents. I don't need that. Prices were ok and receipt printed at the pump so no need to walk inside. I feel like most gas stations out there are like Black Bear diner. Just bla. Chevron feels more distinguished like Orchards. Call me crazy but maybe I'm just a sucker for the advertisements with all the happy little cars zooming around. Gone are the days of homemade syrups served at restaurants but I guess you can always count on that Techron availability.”

“Great location and well stocked, everything here are very good. The only problem is that they open much less hours that most gas stations. They need to open 24x7 everyday. Right now closing at 8pm is ridiculous. You need to come up to speed with your customers because you are loosing our business. We go elsewhere to guy gas after 8pm and we end up not coming back since your hours are unreliable.”
