The gas prices are what they are due to the location I'm sure. My biggest gripe is the No Public Restroom policy. You're the only gas station for awhile! I had brought my family up to Idyllwild for a fun day but on the way up from Indio was a bit much for my 6 y/o to hold it, but the girl was rude about it, not a I'm sorry sir but the bosses policy, instead I got the forceful NO public restroom read the sign (which I didn't see having not turned the corner). Just saying as a paying customer I should be able to use the restroom, secondly there's a clear need for the restroom as everyone clearly asks all the time and last f*uck your employees attitude. So I had my son pee in their parking lot instead (not the gas pump area of course, didn't want others to walk through it)...

Stopped in for a beer and snack after a long hike. They had a great selection of everything including beer. The staff at the counter was very nice as well.

Make this your go to for gas in/around Idyllwild area. It's cheap, it's clean, it's friendly, and hopefully it'll make your day a little bit brighter.Prices at the pump are fair and competitive compared to other stations in town. The pumps are relatively clean, and easy to access from all directions. There's only four of them, so you might need to queue for a bit if you're waiting behind a truck, but that's alright- people come and go relatively quick.Interior of the store is very clean. They don't have a bathroom for public use, and that's very explicitly stated, so don't even try. Food, drinks, snacks are all stocked. You can pick up a copy of the local newspaper, the Town Crier, here, if you want something to read on the way home (providing you're a passenger, obviously.) and it's really interesting to read about what's happening in town.Cashiers are attentive and friendly. It really felt like the cashier who has helped me the past three times cared. Quite a nice feeling. It's pretty common in Idyllwild, which is part of the reason I love the town so much.

Rude clerk! Will never go there again! I visit every year and I am seriously disappointed in the woman (if thats what you want to call her) I encountered at the store. I'll skip this one next time

Very good, just what I needed. Thought it might be closed with the pandemic going on, but to my surprise it was up and running. Btw, Stephen S. seems like a whinny little girl. Just my two cents ;)

I just love this little market! And the staff is exceptional. Always helpful and polite. I love it when Casey is working because she can always make me laugh and she treats me like a friend and not just another customer. I hope the owners know what a gem they have found with her!!!

This place was our saving grace. We were driving up the 5000+ feet of elevation to get up to Idyllwild and since we were in a hybrid electric car we had already ran out of the electric and were running very low on gas. We were a bit tense about making it up the steep drive up to the mountain top of Idyllwild as we only had a buffer of 8 miles of gas on the tank. It's a little trickier with these newer electric cars because during the high seasons you can't drive up the mountain in a swift manner on your own accord. You have to wait in a line of cars down the mountain where you have to wait to be escorted up in a 20-25 minute loop. We were anticipating to refill up with gas but before we knew it we were in a gridlock standing in line to get up the hill. We decided to wait it out and chance that we could make it up the hill with the projected miles we still had left, which was enough. We were just worried that the 5000 feet incline might not drain the car faster of the little bit of gas we had left. Low and behold, right when we drive up the 74 freeway to the top of the mountain we were pleasantly greeted by the Mountain Center Market that offered gas. We were so relieved to have come across this juncture. They saved us from possible turmoil and we are extremely grateful for their kindness while we were passing by.
