Carpeted floors were wet and squishy, the door to the adjacent room wasn’t secure. There was trash and old appliances in the parking lot. You can clearly hear the conversations of domestic disputes from the next rooms. Sheets were stained and ripped, and the mattress made me miss the comfort of the bed from my basic training days. Of course, we decided to leave and were told no refund was possible.Safety: Main door was difficult to secure. The door to the neighboring room didn’t lock well, and was blocked off by a chair.

Omg they literally saved our lives at midnight when the one I have booked has a very confusing late checkout instruction. We ended up almost homeless….thank you alpine lodge for stay open late . I’m sorry to wake the manager up tho !

The Room i stayed in was really really nice, I am so happy I got it at short notice,Walkability: Its a couple steps away from various restaurants and bus stops vary nice.

I traveled the state for 9 years for work staying in low budget hotels due to my employer and where they put is up at. This place is nasty.

The Alpine Lodge looks charming and vintage from its photos online, but in real life it is dingy, old, smelled bad, and looks as though there hasn't been any renovations since the 1980's. My bus was late arriving to town, (I arrived at 3 AM) and incidentally there was a forrest fire nearby that caused a power outage all over town. When I got to the hotel, the owner (I think Andy), whose English was difficult to understand, insisted that I pay with cash because his credit card machine was not working due to not having electricity (why didn't he have a mobile app to take cards?). When I told him I didn't have any cash but could find an ATM first thing the next morning, he said "no cash, no room" despite it being 3 AM and obviously a tough situation. My taxi driver was kind enough to pay my hotel fee in cash so that I could have a place to stay for the night. Overall, my rate was $166, but this hotel is worth $25 a night at best. There are plenty of other, nicer places to stay in town at the same price. I wouldn't waste my money staying here again.

I called 4 times to confirm my reservation. Upon arrival, the clerk claimed that there was no reservation under my name and they behaved incredibly rudely. It seems that this establishment is very disorganized and I do not recommend it to others.

The clerk was extremely rude and unhelpful. We refused to stay in this place and asked for a refund. There was a person staying in the motel who appeared to be stoned and we felt very unsafe. There is a reason this is the last motel with a room available during a snow storm. Beware.

Front desk clerk (Ron/Andy??) mistakenly checked us in. When we told him we had a reservation he acted like we had the reservation when in fact we were at the wrong hotel. As soon as we realized our mistake, we asked for a refund. Ron/Andy refused and threatened to call security, yelled at me and my elderly mother, said he didn't care and it wasn't his problem. He refused to offer any help to correct the situation or offer any reasonable solution. When we asked to speak to the manager he gave us a number that went directly to him and he hung up on me. Also of note, the front desk was crawling with ants, sketchy people on premises, and there was a big black bug on a pillow, dirty and felt unsafe there... especially after being threatened by Ron/Andy. If I could give zero stars I would. I'd highly suggest that the owner/manager look into addressing these issues.

Found small bugs in my room. The comforter was visibly stained and dirty. Everything was very dated. Not a good experience. Stay away.

Run!!!!!We stayed here and our room was freezing when we arrived. The heater stopped working 1 hour after getting there and there was a large blood burger on the wall. We switched rooms and though the heater worked, it never got warm and we couldn’t sleep. We left and slept in our car.
