Very cool local surf shop with solid selection of quality boards and surfing gear. The beach is a short drive from the shop and the knowledge staff was very helpful.

We originally went to Wavelengths to buy a T-shirt and some stickers, but they ended up helping us so much more in the long run. We bought a paddleboard down the road (with no racks to drive it 5 hours back to Laguna Beach) and called in to ask if they had any we could purchase. Not only did they have racks, they also offered to help us install one on top of our Jeep. Shoutout to John for the aid in the installation, and to Mike as well for giving us pricing, options, and details for it. We appreciate the service so much and we were so excited that everything worked out and we were able to strap it to the roof safely and take it home. Thanks again for the all the help, and to Morro Bay visitors: this shop is a MUST for souvenirs, all things surfing, and just a cool place to visit during your time there. (P.S. the paddleboard made it back to Orange County in one piece, thanks again!)

Morro Bay has this gem of a surf shop that is on the embarcadero that if you enjoy surfing, the beach vibe or a bit of both...then stop by. I love surf shop t-shirts and they have the 3 stacks and a rock shirt that is truly iconic and always gets peoplecommenting when you wear it.Great people who willmake you glad you stopped by.

Very nice surf shop right on the main Embarcadero in Morro. They have a ton of items to look at from shirts, shoes, skate boards, stickers, and so much more. I always stop in to looks around whenever I get a chance to go to Morro Bay.

My experiences here have always been great. The staff and owner are all nice fellas with tons of surf experience. I don't like a ton of attention in a retail space and these guys get it; they offered their help when I came in or had a question but otherwise let me browse in peace. I've taken home a new Stoneman shortboard and a wetsuit hood, super stoked with both! Normally in a high-tourist are you can't expect much from a surf shop other than sale racks full of old t-shirts. Wavelengths isn't this at all. Their selection of surf gear is top notch. Their skate gear looks good as well. Mens apparel is all on point. I think the one weak link is the shop brand women's apparel where they could do with some softer materials and better branding; my wife has never found anything to buy for herself despite wanting to support the shop. For anyone renting surf gear my advise to set yourself up for success would be: 1. Surfing is HARD! Watching some youtube videos before you go can make your first experience much better. 2. Understand the risks. If the surf looks big and you're not an experienced swimmer wait for a calmer day.

Been going since I was a kid so u brought my kid while on vacation that way. Very nice, knowledgeable staff. Helpful and still have great gear. Worth a visit!

After 20+ years of skateboarding, the surfing bug finally bit me hard. Did hours and hours of online research about good beginner boards and spots around Cambria, which led me to Wavelengths.I popped into the shop over the hectic 4th of July weekend with the goal of walking out with a suit and a board. Was greeted immediately upon entering and approached within a minute or two by a super friendly employee, who found me the perfect wetsuit for the cold Cambria water. He went on break, and another great employee tapped on to help me dial in the fit.Once back from break, the first employee helped me pick out a sick 8’ Torq board, installed fins and a leash for me, and loaded me up with free wax. Start to finish, the team at Wavelengths were engaged, eager to help, and just stoked to get me surfing—no judgment or weird vibes at all, which you can certainly find in lots of skate shops out there.While I’ve got some work to do on my timing and form (see photo…), I’m loving my setup and am completely confident in my gear. Thanks Wavelengths crew!

The attendants were extremely friendly and helpful in our search for wetsuits. We found two great wetsuits for very cheap prices there. Highly recommend!!!
