Always find good deals at Achievement House thrift shops. This one is no different. If there is no price, I suggest you haggle some with bulk purchase. They can be a bit nitpicks on small items. Otherwise good prices and bargains. Def stop buy when in Morro Bay CA

Every time we visit Morro Bay we look forward to shopping at this thrift store. It has been clean, well organized, and we found a variety of items we "couldn't live without"! This time could not be more opposite. Such a disappointment. Oh well. Until next time...

Staff are very rude, the place was full of junk and I wouldn’t waste my time in there ever again.

The store seems to have some cool things but the employees are uptight if you look a certain way. They watch you closely and you can feel their eyes. Cashier had the nerve to point out my son, nearly 10, was looking at something, not breakable, and gave him a dirty look. It took a lot for me not to slap the look off the cashier's face. It hurts to know that we are still getting profiled in such a nice place from people who definitely don't seem like they have room to judge others. I'll give the place another try but ...

My favorite thrift store at Morro Bay. And it's for a good cause. (Note to self: Bring donations to them when visiting the coast! ) I wanted to go shopping while we were there recently, but I didn't want to break the bank. We stopped by a few other stores on Morro Bay Blvd, then found ourselves at AH. There were a few other shoppers and employees when we arrived. They didn't mind at all that we had our little mini schnauzer with us. After browsing the perimeter and housewares, I went to look through the jeans. Not a huge selection, which can be overwhelming to me. Just a few racks to hold my attention. I had fit into size 12 jeans earlier in the year, and thought just maybe a 10 might fit now. I won't try on clothing at a thrift store, so if something I buy doesn't fit, I just re-donate it. I found a cute pair of jeans for just $6. Cool beans! When I was done shopping, the nicest lady helped me check out. I noticed a sign stating that on Thursdays, whatever fits into a brown grocery bag is yours for just $10! Now that's a deal! I tried on those jeans after getting home and washing them, and they fit great!

This is the "classiest" thrift shop in Morro Bay. Nicely organized and it supports a great cause. The Achievement House dedicates itself to people with disabilities and provides them with training and tools for this thing called life. Prices are as expected, sometimes a bit high, but thrifting is not necessarily cheap or thrifty these days anyway. Occasionally we'll find some great treasures in here, but even those times that we don't, we always have a really fun time looking around. The help has been friendly, for the most part, and helpful when asked. I never pass this place up when I am in town. Sometimes I leave with a few items and other times I just leave with a happy feeling of browsing around some odd and old stuff. Thank you!

Great place...I was looking all over Morro & Osos for cookware, pots and pans- Achievement house really did have the best selection! Prices were reasonable, place was clean, roomie & bright. The ladies were helpful. Thanks Achievement!

A local Morro Bay gem. Their community service mission makes them a winner among resale shops. Fair prices. Good work. Shop here!

Horrible. We were followed and watched the whole shopping trip. No greetings in or out, just stares from the three women that worked there. Prices were ok, smelled bad. They should probably think about washing the clothing before they put it on the rack.
