My transmission went out on my Mitsubishi outlander. I was far from home and barely made it to this mechanic’s shop. He reassured me that he would get it fixed at a fair price. He really
took alot of time looking for a good used transmission. He sent back 3 or 4 transmissions after throughout inspecting them. He finally found a good used one that had low mileage and was in good shape. A lot of mechanics would not have gone through so much hassle. He gave me a good price. New transmissions for these cars are 9,000$ normally. He was able to find a good used one. with everything including labor and some other small repairs it was just under 6,000$. It’s still a lot of money but cheap for what I had done and what other mechanics would have charged. These Mitsubishi cars have expensive parts and are not cheap to work on. This mechanic’s main focus was my satisfaction. He really just wanted to get my car done right at the best price possible. I can’t say enough good things about the character of this mechanic. Honest, Decent, very well intentioned.

My brother usually brings his diesel here, but i brought my lexus and Marty really helped me out. He explained the issue, and was able to fix the problem. I highly recommend going here and asking for Marty!

The proprietor of this business is an absolute crook. He ruined my car. Did brake work. The brakes came apart, and parts were unavailable. I had to junk the car. I only regret that I am unable to review with zero stars.

They are terrible, truly screwed me over and almost had to take them to small claims court. I've never dealt with a worse mechanic shop. Spent $1600 on repairs to my car a year ago and already everything they've done has had to be replaced. They put in front struts, one of which quickly went bad. Had 2 separate mechanics tell me the strut needed replacement after Liberty had just put new ones in, so I returned to Liberty since they were still under warranty. Bijan refused, saying there was nothing wrong with it, even though you could literally see the bolt being pulled through the metal. After much argument, I had to pay out of pocket for a new one and had to go directly through O'Reillys where the part had been purchased from to get reimbursement, where I also found out that Liberty had charged me almost 2x as much for the struts as he had purchased them for. I later took the old strut back to show Bijan and he admitted it was bad. They claim they believe in preventive maintenance but they just want to do a bunch of unnecessary work they can charge you for. A year ago they claimed I needed new rear struts and a new axle because the the engine was resting on the broken axle, sagging down several inches. A year and several mechanics later, the rear struts are still fine and the axle is fine-the mechanic I had look at it said it has a tiny crack in it but replacing it wouldn't improve the safety or performance of the car, it would be an unnecessary repair. Seriously, avoid this place, they don't honor their warranties, will do unnecessary repairs, overcharge, and all the work they did to my car just needed to be redone by another mechanic.

Stay away liberty auto is bad news brought my vehicle in to swap the water pump and thermostat got it back with a bad oil leak and coolant leak both of which I didn't have before Bijan said I needed a radiator Quote-$850 (on top of the $400 I already spent) got 2nd quote from shop up the street $550 He was trying to upsell every step of the way and wasn't helpful at all I didn't need a radiator just a flush which he was supposed to do when did the water pump he also 'speculated' what could be wrong with the car after having it for a day instead of definite answers I picked it up and it overheated on the way home I took it to another shop and they finished the job correctly cost was $188 I have no confidence in Liberty Auto and will be taking them to court for lost wadges Stay away!

Bijan is wonderful!!! He was so kind to take a look at our car even though he was ready to close for the evening. We were stuck in the area worried about car trouble (over 2 hours from home). I am incredibly grateful to him for helping us. We were able to make the drive home safely. I highly recommend Liberty Auto Repair. Thank you so much Bijan! If we lived closer, this would be our regular repair shop.

Very helpful. Told me some things needed replacing, which I knew was true. It's hard to know who to trust, but they did a great job fixing my car and didn't charge me for things that I knew I didn't need. They even washed, my car, too, which was a nice surprise.

My kid just picked up his car from this place after paying a bunch of $$$ to have it fixed. They said it only needed a new battery. Maybe the battery in it is new, if so it looks old. My thing is the matter of battery cables pulling off the terminals. Even worse that the clamp on the positive side is missing a nut. So I'm wondering if maybe his alternator is shot again because while on rough road it died and he called me for a jump. Now, we are not so mechanically inept to do this fix ourselves...but why is it that those employed to do so are so unethical to allow such shodddy business?
