Awesome agent with great negotiation skills in the selling and purchase of my homes. Great eye for details and very knowledgeable. He expertly maneuvered my purchase offer to stand out and be accepted among multiple offers. Very patient in explaining the process and next steps. Always kept me updated on what was happening.

The husband is very rude and sarcastic. These people really need to learn how to talk to people.

Thanks so much to Gary Palacios and his team for selling our home and for so much more than we could have expected. We highly recommend everyone to hire Gary and his team to sell your home and to find your next one. Their knowledge, expertise and care is unbeatable.

I write this in a constructive attempt to help The Palacios Group to improve their service by not taking for granted the community they purport to serve. Here's my story: On March 10, 2021, Gary Palacios' office arranged through my real estate agent to have his clients tour our home and occupied cottage for up to one hour, starting at 3 PM. For us to host, given the current Covid protocols, we can't be in the house when others are touring, so evacuating our home (where we work) is a big imposition. Likewise, our tenant in the cottage was similarly inconvenienced. Five adults, in total, were required to stop what they were doing, clean up, stage the house for the presentation (clean kitchen, rooms, vacuum, lights, fireplaces, music, etc.), and then evacuate the two structures. We did so. We needed to be back in the house by 3:50 PM (giving them 50 minutes). We were assured they would be quick because the prospective buyers were sophisticated and knew what they were looking for. We checked at 3:50 PM, and there was no sign that anyone had visited. We had to return to keep some standing online Zoom meeting appointments. It appeared that we were stood up and inconvenienced without explanation or apology. Sometime after 4 PM, our agent was alerted that Mr. Palacios and his clients were running behind and still wanted to come to see the homes. We told them we would welcome them, but some individuals may have to remain in the house because of work commitments. Believing in second chances, we again turned on all the lights, fireplaces, queued the music, etc., and prepared to make ourselves as invisible as much as possible. At 5 PM (two hours after the scheduled tour), we received notice from our realtor that Mr. Palacios texted him, saying that they are running way behind and because my family and tenant are so busy (blaming this on US???), they are canceling and will see about rescheduling. I told our agent that while we have been inconvenienced, the worst outcome would be for 5 adults to spend 3 hours cleaning and making room in our calendars to host them - and have nothing to show for it. We told our realtor to convey to them, "Let's do this! Come over. We're not too busy for you." "No, my clients want to go home now," is the response we received. Perhaps The Palacios Group takes good care of their direct clients. But those of us who are selling our homes and ultimately pay their commission deserve at least some professional treatment and respect. At the very least, I expected an apology for the way we were put out for no reason other than their poor planning. We never received one from the prospective buyers or Mr. Palacios. We asked our realtor to convey to Mr. Palacios and his clients that we would prefer they not try to reschedule. We feel obligated to protect our existing neighbors from a potential new neighbor who was so rude and inconsiderate. As I said at the beginning, this is MY story. Perhaps Mr. Palacios can add new light that explains the unprofessional treatment we received. I welcome it, as I suspect you, dear reader, do too.

Realtor. Friend. Family. These are three pillars of Gary Palacios. First, he’s that smiling face on his realty sign out front of your future home. Second, he’s your new hilarious friend. Third, he’s your newest relative by mortgage. Gary is a top tier realtor, and a higher tier human being. His strongest characteristic in his approach is being human. Standing by his clients, being their rock, and putting them first the entire process. It’s an honor to be his client, but more importantly his friend and family. We look forward to many years of friendship with Gary and his wife Jennifer.

Great experience with agents who are the best in their business but who keep the personal touch and help realising the dreams of their clients!
