This place is great, very welcoming. I went in without an appointment and they took me in right away. Suzy did an amazing job on my hair, and asked if I was satisfied throughout the entire process. She really knows her craft and I feel comfortable saying I will be returning

I've been going to Sheila for 20+ years. My mom also, I've taken my daughter's, referred my friends... we have all had nothing but excellent service, quality care, and amazing hair. The clients are made to feel like family, very welcome and friendly stylists. You won't be disappointed by Sheila, Renee, or any of the ladies!

Following by my 1 star yelp review I was contacted by Sheila the owner offering to at no charge to fix the mishap, which I accepted. Sheila did a fantastic job, my hair looks exactly the way I like and asked for on my first appointment, she fitted me in on a Sunday. My reason for the 4 star rating not 5 is during the course of her working on my hair she basically placed the blame on me, by saying it happened because I didn't communicated it correctly to Antoinette. I didn't want to start any heartburn and not wanting for any more further ado with leaving again not satisfied, I remained quiet. When I got home it bothered me, and I want to clarify that First of all Sheila had no problem understanding what I asked for, I didn't have to go into details nor explain myself, basically, my communication is not impaired nor unclear, I command her for her loyalty and support to the beauticians working in her shop, however, that is not business smart to blame the customer for substandard work starring you right on the face, which my conclusion is the beautician that first worked on my hair didn't pay attention and just didn't care. I would understand if I was rude and had started saying negative things, but I didn't, I came in happy, polite and gracious walking out thankful that my hair highlights were done correctly no more just one big stripe of blond, all I wanted was just good service.

I went to this salon for cut and highlights in August/September 2013. My appointment was with Sheila, the owner. We had moved in May of 2013 to Morgan Hill from the East Bay. I had wanted to find someone closer and a woman I met in MH had good color so I asked her who did her hair and she gave me Sheila's info. I feel personally that my hair is one of my better features, I take care of my hair by using good products (Bumble & Bumble, Pureology & Unite) and often have strangers ask me where I get my hair done; I did not, get compliments after Sheila did my hair, though!! Anyhow, I had an appointment with her for a Saturday, mid-morning. First, when I entered the salon, no one greeted me. Second, she was late. I sat there for 10 minutes and texted her to ask where she was and she said she was running late. She finally arrived 15+ minutes late!! First impressions of the salon? Filthy! The nail station was disgusting and the sinks were filthy! Very dated decor, as well. Anyhow, when she got there, I sat in the chair and specifically told he I DID NOT WANT ANY CHANGES. Because I liked my hair (I wasn't changing stylists because of bad experiences but location). I washed and styled my hair before the appointment. . So basically, it was do more of what I have. Nothing different. I wanted highlights and specifically said don't go darker. So, she mixes up the color and proceeds to get me in the foils. We start talking and I she went on and on about how particular she was and that she is a perfectionist, blah blah blah. Then she proceeds to put darker dye on the bottom portions of my hair. First, I specifically said I DON'T WANT TO GO DARKER. I certainly didn't want to be taken back to the previous decade either. As she is finishing up the application of the color, a friend of hers stops by and they start chatting. She is completely ignoring me and she doesn't bother introducing me. They were talking about what I thought was eyelash extensions, and I said, "Are you ladies taking about eyelash extensions ?". And her friend replied, "umm, its just a girl thang". Um, I'm female. Anyway, they actually were talking about eyelash extensions which was something I was interested in, which I think Sheila was talking about offering. Stupid not to share. Also, super unprofessional. If her friend wanted to talk in private, than make other arrangements to chat. Color is ready to come off. She washes my hair (in the filthy sink). Then, she sprays something on my hair when she's done and I asked her what it was. She replied, something to the effect that it was a product that removed product build up because she wasn't sure what kind of crap I used on my hair. Excuse me, but I use better products that that crappy Sally Beauty Supply junk she was peddling so stop with all the high-and-migtly talk. Not impressed. She cut my hair. Blow dried and used the flat iron. I went in with my hair in loose curls (again, trying to illustrate that I DIDN'T WANT ANYTHING DIFFERENT! I also said at the beginning I did not want anything different and pointed out that I styled my hair on purpose. The end product. Highlights with a green tint and black underneath. Even my husband noticed that the highlights were green. I asked several friends to "be honest" and everyone said it was awful. HORRIBLE!! DON'T GO TO THIS SALON! I went back to my former person (45 miles away) and it took 2 revolutions of color to correct. Lastly,a year later I ran into the woman who initially referred me and her hair looked awful. Dreadful color.

I called to find out their hours on a Saturday and was in within 30 minutes. Antoinette put soft layers into my long hair so I didn't have to go too much shorter. Can't wait for my next cut & color appointment!

I consider myself a full customer now :) .. I first went here to get my nails done. Kathy is a pro and my nails always look fantastic !! It is nice to get my nails done and not feel like I have either walked into a foreign country or that I'm on a assembly line. After going for months to get my nails down I finally decided to ask Renee for a hair cut and to get rid of the gray. I'm glad I did my hair looks fantastic and the kids at my son schools no longer ask me if I'm his Grandma lol. I had to bring my son with me thru babysetting confusion and they were awesome with him too. I love going in here the ladies are always so nice and the place is usually packed and friendly.

I was completely in shock after reading all of these amazing reviews about this place and only to walk in and walk right out. I come in with a family of 4 to get hair cuts and never get acknowledge that we are sitting down or someone telling us that someone will be right with us. So after waiting about 5 min I just leave and say that I've never in my life went somewhere people who own a business to treat you this way. A hairdresser ran out after us an apologizes and than ask us if there is anything that she can do to help us. I told her no and I've never been in a place of business like that. I'm sure they do amazing hair cuts but sad we didn't even get that far.

I love Sheila! She is amazing! She has been doing my mom's hair for a few years and I loved how it looked so I started going. I have very dry, frizzy and curly hair. She was able to tame it, much to my surprise! She always does exactly what I want and gives me ideas and suggestions if I want to try something new. She is also the only person that does not feel the need to straighten my hair after my haircut! She loves my curls and makes me look my best! Sheila came to my house to do my hair for my wedding. She also did my mom, niece and mother in-law's hair. She came in, put on her music and worked her magic! I was so happy Sheila was there! I was a little worried because we had to take pictures in SF and it gets pretty windy there. Sheila told me not to worry! My hair will not move and will last until I wash it! She was right! My hair looked fabulous and so did our pictures! It also lasted the entire day and night! Unfortunately, I moved out of state but every chance I get back home, I go to Sheila for much need TLC for my hair! Mahalo Sheila! I'll see you again in November :)
