I walked in to buy a 6 pack of IPA before picking up my pizza across the street. A man walked into the store behind me and seemed visibly intoxicated, probably vagrant, and exhibited mental health issues. I went up to the register and the cashier/clerk noticed this man drop a 3 pack of tall beers onto the ground. The cashier/clerk did the right thing by telling this person to leave and took the alcohol away. However, what ensued afterwards is what compelled me to rate this location a 1 star - 1 positive for the initial action but a loss of 4 stars for the tirade of vulgar back and forth. I get it - I've worked in service - people are rude. However, NEVER stoop to their level, ever. Especially when 3 customers are in line watching this. After the childish and belligerent argument between the two grown men ended, the cashier/clerk asked me for my ID. I'm 32. Come on. I'll NEVER come back here. I felt extremely uncomfortable. Anyone with a sense of dignity will go elsewhere and it doesn't have to be Trader Joe's. Al R who rated this location 5-stars has issues with "labradoodles" in custom jeeps - therapy might help them overcome their perceived prejudice. It's not entitlement - it's common decency.

Stay clear of this place. The guy just makes up his prices depending on his mood. 15 pack of Ultras and a tall boy Truly = 27$. Lol. Go to 7-11 and you can get an 18 + Truly tall boy for 21$. Screw this guy.

The owner or whoever’s at the front is comically hilarious at how rude and bad at his job he is

Horrible, horrible service! I called looking for a specific brew. After repeating the name of the beer several times to the individual on the phone, he told me he didn't know if they had it and that they have many so, "you come look" and then he hung up on me. My thought...that is exactly how you get me to never want to set foot in your store.

NO MASK ENFORCEMENTcalling the city about thisHe had me take off my mask so I can buy any product that's 18+ I told him that's not okay because covid is in the air and I have a 3 year old, he didn't care he wasn't even wearing his mask covering his nose.On top of that the guy behind me wasn't wearing no mask and they both laughed about me wearing one. This happened on 0/2/20 at 6:30ish. That's not okay whatsoever they don't care about other people's health whatsoever

Asked if they had a specific type of Rum there in person after looking for it, was told they had it. When I couldn't find it, they just repeated that they had it. Continued looking bottle by bottle, they didn't, asked him to show me, he wouldn't. As I was leaving the owner dismissively waved me off. Prices not openly shown on a lot of things and when they are, way overpriced. I visit corner stores relatively frequently, can't think of a worse one from Sacramento to Hollister.

They had a bottle of Weller SR on shelf without a price tag, when I brought to the register I was told it was $60, I stated MSRP is $20, under the assumption that he would recheck the price. I was informed that it was probably $8 in Mexico and I could go there instead. I won't be back.
