Just got off the phone with Kim alteration and very disappointed. I truly try to shop/support local since we live here in town and I started off asking if they could help me with something very simple/small item was trying to explain and I was just cut off with a "no, we don't do it." Will definitely be taking my business else where. Thank you for your time anyways

This was my 1st time using Kim's Alteration. They did a great job shortening my mother-in-laws pants (Christmas gift). Quick service & very professional results. I'll be using them again.

I enjoyed my experience at Kim's. I needed some hemming and tapering for four pairs of pants. She took my measurements right away and it took her a week to do all four pairs. I had asked about adding pockets to one pair and she gave me her honest opinion, saying it was very expensive to do so and recommended against it, which I appreciate. Yes, her service is pricier than anticipated but I am very satisfied with her work! I even took two pairs of cargo pants for her to do. She only accepts cash, but she mentions that from the start which I think is just fine. I've no doubt I'll need more adjustments in the future and I will definitely be going back to Kim's for her service.

This lady is actually pretty good but super expensive and REALLY rude! I took a bridesmaid dress in to get altered, she told me "this not meant for you"....well no choice of mine but thanks lady. Would be one star if she wasn't actually good at her job. I hate giving bad reviews but need to share. Get ready to spend some cash, as she doesn't take credit cards.

I came in to ask Kim to alter an embroidered dress as well as a full length maxi dress. The two dresses would cost me over $150. To hem a maxi dress straight across it was $28 CASH only. Charge a fee if you need to so you can accept credit cards... it's the cost of doing business.

You need to know tailoring if you want to use Kim. I took a shirt in to have the sleeves shortened and after receiving it back it looked like a pirate shirt with puffy sleeves. When I confronted Kim I was told that if I wanted the sleeves tapered to the cuff I should have told her. It seemed obvious to me that to keep the same appearance of the sleeve, she would have automatically tapered the sleeve so that it was the correct size at the cuff. Kim refused to make it right unless I paid her more. I promised to inform others of her unprofessional position.

Very good work and friendly service. It takes about a week you get clothing altered because there is just the owner working there.

Good work, but suit alterations are expensive and the work took too long. For a suit I paid $60. I could have bought a new suit for that! Won't go back there. If you go to Milpitas, go to Elegant Tailoring on Serra Ave. They are family run, honest, hard working, detail oriented. They did 6 suits for me in a week, and had three done in three days!! And the work was super. Kim took over a week to do one suit! Crazy.
