I came to this location on my lunch break from aviation mechanics school to get duck bill pliers. I usually only go to Ace for key copies, which are always the cheapest deal around. But there were at least 4+ different brands of most every kind of pliers - no duck bill. Ace is arguably the most expensive chain hardware/home improvement store you can go to - you'd think they'd have a somewhat common tool. Even harbor freight has duck bill pliers. But the store was clean & well organized. Employees were presentable and well mannered, but knew nothing except "if it's not on the shelf then I dunno", and no attempt/care to try to get a solution - like seeing if it can be ordered, etc. Unless you absolutely have to, I'd go elsewhere.

Love this place! However, today, "Sorry about that," was the response when I inquired about recycling paint. The firm is listed as one of three places in Morgan HIll that will recycle paint. According to my telephone call to determine how the paint is to be delivered, I learned that the firm does not. Disappointing, but will not stop me from shopping there.

I was in your store today to pick up some teflon tape and glue for pvc pipes. Jeff was such a great help. Explained everything that I needed and why I needed it and how to put it together.Also was in there a few weeks ago and ?? Toni Ann - works in the plumbing department - who helped me with the Zero G hoses and how to connector one to another. Awesome people you have working in the store. Thanks!!!

This place needs to let employees know what move with a purpose is. I came in for one item; carabiner bungee cords. I got what I needed and went to checkout, wasn't even 30 seconds. There were two checkouts open and one employee seemed clueless. The other register, the customer seemed completely lost and didn't know what they were buying and asked numerous questions. Maybe they should put in self checkout. The employee called 2 times over the intercom for help in the front and no one came. I asked if they have change for $100, my item was $35. She said yes and when she opened the register realized she didn't have change and I told her I can pay with card. She said she already put in for cash. Cash registers should have at least $200 in change in the register at all times. So she called who I think was a manager up to get change. He was a much older gentleman moving very slowly. It look him another 10 minutes just to bring up change. So what should have been a 1 minute visit here, turned out to be over 30 minutes. I only bought from here instead of Amazon because I needed the product that day. From now on, I will stick with Amazon because they are cheaper for the same exact product.
