Horrible place. If you are looking for a home loan I would avoid at all cost. The lender left out major information before sending our application for underwrite. We depend on them as the pro to guide us through the process yet our agent didn't account for our property taxes or PMI into our monthly payment. Our first meeting we discussed what we could afford, she then input all the data and came back and said we qualified for fanny may loan with 5% down and worked all the numbers to meet our montly payment. Once in underwriting and after talking to a few people I messaged the agent and asked how much will property taxes be. She then tells us because we are only putting down 5% taxes would have to be included in the montly and would be an additional 1400 a month on top of what we already told her we could afford. I don't have an issue with the taxes because we all pay them yet when she advises us what price house we can go bid on then has to retract that info it shows they don't know what they are doing. Beware because misses like this from these professionals can be detrimental to someone.

Great company but making a payment online is a NIGHTMARE.Why they simply cannot have a clear big MAKE A PAYMENT tabto facilitate makes for an incredible waste of time goinground and round and round... then they didn't recognize my email or password... and they were indeed CORRECT..... Pleeeze.So I called it in and they charged a 7.00 fee. Fuel to the fire.Now I am on eternal hold to deal with this mess.

Made an appointment and took time off work to meet at 10 am on a Thursday and no one showed. Got an email at 9:50 am saying they would be late. Waited another 30 minutes and no one showed up. To me that says you don't care about my business. So I went to wells Fargo

I was introduced to Guild mortgage by my realtor. Janine and Gelda first impression was not great at all. I thought I was only dealing with Janine but some how it was more with Gelda. It was like broken telephone game. When I asked to Janine to call me no response but instead condescending emails from Gelda. I worked with other mortgage companies before but this one, I would think they have a better communication skill. In the end I didn't do business with them. They ranned my co borrower's credit when I asked would it be beneficial or not and of course it did not and lowered her credit score! That wasn't cool. I went with Patelco and Michelle there did a phenomenal job! I hope Gelda will never be a manager at Guild. I'm surprised how Janine is a manager the way she communicated with me. 95% emails and 5% in call. I had only 2 phone calls from her.

When I needed help getting approved for a loan, I went straight to Jayson. He helped me out with my first loan and I knew that I could trust him. I was initially unsure whether I was trying to get approved to buy a home or refinance my current home to buy the other owner so I sent him several different directions. He took the time to help me evaluate the options for every scenario I threw his way. He then seriously went out of his way to help me through a high stress and high maintenance refinance with kindness and tons of patience. There is literally no one else I would ever recommend for anyone looking to buy or refinance. He and his team care deeply about their clients. When people think of the mortgage industry, altruism isn't usually the first thing that comes to mind. However, Jayson and his team exemplify it. I will forever be grateful to them for their help. Plus, they give their clients baked goods upon approval. Who doesn't love baked goods?
