My recent experience today 02/10/2024, at the Goodwill Donation Center in Morgan Hill was nothing short of a nightmare. What should have been a simple act of generosity turned into a frustrating and degrading encounter with the staff.Upon arriving at the donation area in my G-Wagen filled with $27,000 worth of brand-new clothes, I was met by a tall, surly individual who seemed to have no concept of basic customer service. First, he nitpicked about the positioning of my vehicle, insisting I move it a few inches to align with some arbitrary red line. Fine, I complied without complaint, hoping it would be the end of the absurdity. But no, it only got worse from there. This individual had the audacity to refuse anything wrapped in plastic, as if my donation's packaging was more important than its content. He then directed me to follow him inside, only to inform me that he doesn't handle merchandise. What exactly did he think I was donating? Candy bars? When he finally acknowledged the value of my donation, he decided to play a sadistic game of "move the box" with me. First, he instructed me to pour my items into a box, then changed his mind and demanded I relocate them elsewhere. I complied, only for him to flip-flop yet again, ordering me to gather everything back and move it to another spot. It was like dealing with a petulant child who couldn't make up his mind.By this point, I had had enough of this lazy, rude individual. I politely pointed out that I was trying to donate $27,000 worth of brand-new clothes, which they would undoubtedly sell for profit, yet I was being treated like a nuisance. Instead of apologizing or attempting to rectify the situation, he threatened to refuse my donation if I didn't comply with his ever-changing demands.Fed up with his unprofessionalism and lack of gratitude, I informed him that I would be taking my donation elsewhere – specifically to the Salvation Army in Gilroy, where I am confident it will be put to good use by a real nonprofit organization. Needless to say, I will never again darken the doorstep of the Goodwill Donation Center in Morgan Hill, and I urge others to think twice before doing so as well.

Went to donate, rude employee took items and dumped glass items in box into the donation container. As I was walking away I could hear the glass breaking. So sad, they were in very good condition. It was just time for someone else to enjoy these items. Will go to Savers on Almaden Expressway in San Jose to donate for now on.

Worst goodwill I have ever been to! The prices are very high and I went up to the counter for a price check on some legos and the guy was very rude said he couldn’t sell me them then though them in the trash. Then he was making an autistic boy cry by kicking him out of the store. This place doesn’t even deserve one star, don’t waste your time at this goodwill.

This store has gotten even worse and I didn’t think that could be possible. There is never anything of value in the store. The new manager of supervisor are worse than the Saul guy, he at least had a few reasonable semi-valued stuff in the stores. The prices for these second hand donated items are laughable.Greed is an ugly thing. Stop sending everything off to be auctioned on online. Give the residents a chance to get a good deal. Smh

This place has really good stuff and cute stuff, namebrand things. I was all for it. The customer service was nice. My only complaint is that they only have one dressing room available and the people in the dressing rooms take 45 minutes to try on their stuff. There should be at least one more dressing room available. It is so ridiculous I came and had a bunch of stuff that I wanted to try on and peacefully waited for about 25 minutes for someone to get out of the dressing room and they didn't so I left. Then I come back find the stuff that I was originally going to buy and there is someone else in the dressing room for about 30 minutes and it was before closing time so she was the last one. Waiting this long on people can screw me over and they lost business this day.

Please do not carelessly punch a hole through especially leggings with a tagging gun! Perfect condition leggings have been donated here onlyto be damaged with a hole because employee carelessly tags through the legging! I bought so many legging with a hole after taking the tags out and they do NOT let you return or exchange here!

Prices here are too high these days. Items of quality seem to be picked out and sold online.

Horrible service. Tried to take some furniture and lamps. They wouldn't take them unless we paid them!! What the heck is the purpose of paying a non profit to take donations!! Then on top the gentleman was rude and arrogant about it.

Small store but very well organized. Friendly staff, very well stocked. While I was there it was pretty packed with shoppers. Good mix of electronics, books, furniture and plenty of clothes. Easy to get lost in here! Recommend!

Reviews of this location are correct. They don't accept donations very well. We called ahead of time multiple time making sure we could drop off a few thousand dollars worth of things that we had sorted the garbage from our overloaded garage. We were told "yes we take everything except garbage". When we arrived 3 people just glanced at load and said we can handle that. Drove to another goodwill in Campbell and they took everything. I would recommend Campbell location

Goodwill in Morgan Hill is run by a bunch of thieves. It would be interesting to see how many supposedly donations for shopgoodwill.com actually gets sent out. Two of the employees hand pick for for "customers" that don't even make it on a cart or the shelves. Their prices are the highest of all Silicon Valley Goodwill.
