The owner kept changing the amount I owed on my Porsche. He was charging $200 to fax a warranty company. When it came time to pick up the Porsche, he added on another $175. I said I'm not paying that. You are scamming a customer. Fred, the owner, stated he could do whatever he wants because it's his business.

I have never written a review on my life. But Fred's automotive took care of my wife's Gwagon. I have to say they are very knowledgeable and honest. Mike at the front desk is awesome and explain everything to us.Fred and his staff are very skillful and I feel very lucky to find this place. Not only they fixed something the dealership couldn't figure out but they did it with a reasonable price. Can't wait to take my car in for service.

Called to get information regarding the wiring of an actuator (part number identified). Told that it could be a big problem and would need to schedule an appointment. All information on the internet has my part number and all do not instruct the color-coded wiring. One may get the wiring diagram if one subscribes or buy the manuals. Thought Fred's would have the subscription to these manuals to look up the part number and color coding of the wiring. I would have gladly paid for the time for Fred's to look up the information. Businesses' have to make money. I get that! I was unwilling to drive or tow a car with the actuator not connected, and that would cause more potential problems. I have utilized Fred's since the 1980s and each time It seems$$$ is most qualitative issue for their business. I will not be utilizing this Morgan Hill business anymore. God Bless in continued success in Him!

I am so appreciative of this shop! My Range Rover broke down and I feared the worst. The guys at Fred's really took care of us and gave my car a full look over. I felt comfortable knowing that all their work is covered with warranty. What really was the icing on the cake was when they asked for me to bring back the car after 500 miles just to make sure everything was running great (free of charge I must add!). This is my forever shop! Thank you for all of your help and hard work, we really appreciate your service!

Top Notch!I was in a jam being from out of town and having to repair my Cayenne in a hurry. Mike jumped on this right away, was straight with me and very responsive. I was in a pretty tough spot: my 330Ci is old and has 250k miles on it, but I really love that car. When one of my exhaust valves broke, I was sure that the car was toast. I took it to Fred’s knowing that I’d need a true BMW expert to tackle head rework. The fix wasn’t fast or inexpensive, but it was RIGHT, and right the first time. Best of all, they noticed a potentially fatal flaw in the timing chain guide before it spoiled my day. Very appreciative, guys!Service: Engine repair

They know what they're doing and have taken good care of me and my car. They lay out the things you're car needs in an easy to understand manner so that you can allocate your resources as you see fit. Would recommend them to family and friends.
