This store manager is unaware dicks still offers curbside returns and made me come in the store which was a huge inconvenience with kids . Please do better and update your store staff of what is offered since apparently they are unaware

My son had been given a gift over the holiday that didn't fit and we came in to shop for his upcoming baseball season and to do an exchange for the gift to get the right size or store credit if the right size was unavailable. I had looked up the return policy before coming in and saw that if I didn't have the proof of purchase(I did not have one) a store credit would be issued if I showed my ID. When we asked to do the return the associate told us no and that the store wasn't accepting returns at the moment. We bought a couple things that we needed to break my son's new glove in and left alittle put off by the experience, but thought that maybe the associate was having a bad day. I was emailed a survey and filled it out. The Assistant Manager (Andrew S.) emailed me back. He quoted the company return policy and said I needed to have a receipt for all store returns and I would have to obtain a copy of it to move forward with the return. I replied with what I read from the return policy and if I misunderstood something from what I was reading. Unhappy with how the assistant store manager approached this situation, I called customer support. The associate I spoke with was very patient and polite considering I was very upset with how this whole thing had been handled at that point. He recommended I go back into the store and request to do the exchange, and once they refuse again, call customer service to have them approve the return with the sales associate. I explained how frustrating that is from a customer standpoint and how backwards that seems. I shouldn't have to go to customer service to have them approve a return when the store can approve it at the store level. I had received one last email from the assistant manager explaining that they were operating within company policy because they have the right to refuse any returns or exchanges, which I understand. But I also understand customer service especially at a manager position and know that he was choosing to refuse the refund/exchange. I would be understanding if it was a Yeti Cooler or other larger ticket item, but we're talking about a $20 arm sleeve. I do have to commend the sales staff and customer support. They were all understanding of the situation and were following the assistant store manager. The assistant store manager is horrible at his job and doesn't need to be in the customer service line of work. He has made the experience with the store unpleasant and I will refuse to continue shopping at this location and would drive out of my way to do my sporting goods purchases.

I commented to an employee that the golf area has really shrunk. His response was that everything is shipped to the Golf Galaxy now. You want me to drive to Saratoga? Well, I'll just go to the PGA store in Sunnyvale. If you don't want to take care of us who are in Gilroy and MH, we don't want to take care of you.

I wanted to give a shout out to Brandon for his wonderful job performance. My little one and I needed baseball gear, when Brandon took the time to use his expertise and helped my daughter be fitted for shoes, helmet, gloves, batting gloves, and bat. I am very glad I chose to stop into Dicks Sporting Goods. Ask for Brandon next time you shop here for exceptional service.

Didn't have exactly what I was looking for but comparable softball cleats. Bought one pair of (baseball) cleats and ordered another (softball) to see which will be more comfortable for my daughter and return the other after order arrives (free shipping to my home).

This location in particular has a very bad team of unprofessionals. It's like the inmates running the asylum. Guest service is non existent, working as if it's a chore rather than a privilege. Very unfortunate because Dick's in other areas are fantastic. Like they say, it starts from the top. If the leadership doesn't care, the rest will follow, which is very apparent at this location. If you wonder why sales are down in a location but Amazon is still flourishing, may be time to take a hard look in the mirror.

Great store & helpful employees. We have bought bicycles, basketballs, clothing, and much more here. If you live in Morgan Hill or Gilroy, shop here- it also supports our local communities. How this store gets some low ratings here makes no sense to me.

I stopped by to check out paddle boards..unfortunately they did not have any. They're employees were very helpful in other areas. Roxanne, (cashier) helped me obtain a $20 discount.
