Had a great experience with Edward Olivares today. He helped me set up a business account and went over everything, and walked through each option with me. Very professional and friendly, and I am glad I chose Chase for my business needs. I thought I posted this in January...doh!

I went in to bank yesterday to payoff my truck loan. It turns out a deposit a day before was still on hold so the funds actually were not there to cover the truck payoff payment I asked her to process. Yet this female clerk processed the payment as though nothing was wrong. Kudos to male bank teller and told me day before that the payoff could not be processed on that prior date and didn't waste my time or chase's time and erp system with garbage info. Which was another thing I had to deal with post the female tellers inexcusable and unforgivable level of extremely poor customer service!!!

I have banked with Chase private banking for years and love the branch I use in SF but I walked into this branch to add my husband to one of my accounts and before I could even get started the homophobic attitude started pouring out of the ladies mouth. I am not big on posting here but needed to let everyone know to run away from this branch

You cannot reach a person in the branch by telephone. A bill pay payment has taken over two weeks to arrive and Chase will not help me. Time to change banks?

Never anyone available to help... don't waste your time. Always have to make appointments days ahead for simple tasks.

Very poor. I deposited a (valid, government issued) check in the ATM. The following day I received a notification indicating that the check was not accepted. Turns out...it was made payable to my (deceased) mother, as well as myself. I endorsed the check (obviously my mom is not able to do so), but the geniuses at this bank required her signature. The check clearly states "deceased" after her name. The check was not accepted, and returned to me a week later. I was then told that I could redeposit using the app. The app rejected the check, because it was "ALREADY DEPOSITED". I've reached out to the branch, with no resolution, as well as their corporate offices, and they simply couldn't care less. I have 7 accounts with Chase, but not for long. They are arrogant, unresponsive, clumsy, and error prone.

This review - all 5 Stars is solely for the manager Julian! I went in to the branch yesterday to close my accounts. They have a sign in sheet to meet with one of the bankers at the desks as opposed to the tellers. There were 4 people behind desks and only one customer before me. I was honest and wrote down that I was closing my accounts and not surprisingly was overlooked by the desk people as they helped people who walked right into the branch as well as who arrived after I did and wrote down that they had no appointment! After wasting/waiting for 17 minutes I decided to return with an appointment. Today I called and spoke to Julian, who I not only find that he is the branch manager, but that he was so pleasant to speak to on the phone, so accommodating on the phone, & so apologetic on the phone, that I almost didn't show up to close my accounts simply due to the stellar customer service which Julian provided!! I showed up in person, he stopped what he was doing and I was out of there in 5 minutes. Obviously that place (though far from perfect) is doing something right as today (two days after a holiday) had a lobby filled with customers in a land and time where electronic banking abounds! Kudos to Julian for leading such a successful team and knowing how to genuinely care for and satisfy customers even if they are parting ways!! Julian is a true professional in every sense of the word.

Chase Bank "Known Issue" Not Fixed I paid my credit card bill for more than the "required amount" but next day noticed my checking account was missing over $2,540. I called Chase to cancel but was told it couldn't be canceled because it was "processing". No explanation more than that. I called my credit union to put a stop payment but Chase Bank did not acknowledge that. I had to go in to a Chase Bank to have someone there help change it. I was tod "Chase will keep what you wanted to pay and return the rest to your checking account." The Killer: They took the money out at 3:00 pm East Coast time, not local time and it went fast of course. Returning the money? Oh that will take "3 to 5 business days". It has been a known problem that isn't repaired and generates Chase a LOT of INTEREST that we, the customer, lose. Corupt corrupt corrupt?
