Last year I bought my husband 3 of your ghost pepper plants from the local Nobhill here in hollister....the plants were great except that they were mislabeled and they produced little 3 inch orange peppers instead of the bhut jolokia...i think they were detail peppers.

My brother purchased 4 of your plants, which were labeled CANTALOUPE. They appear to be Casaba or Crenshaw melons. Can you tell me possibly what they really are so I can tell when they will be ripe if not CANTALOUPE. Do have to say all plants are doing well regardless of the miss labeling. I also asked a ? In the ask a ? Section on this site

4 different Heirloom Tomatoes from here and they are healthy. Only regret is I wish I had known about them sooner as I would have bought them all from there. Mr. Stripey(aka Tigerella), Japanese Black Trifele, Hillbilly Potato leaf, and black cherry. Paid more elsewhere and they did not look as strong. Huge variety check them out. Good luck and happy growing.

I am happy to say that this is the best place to get your plants. They have great customer service. Unlike big corporations like Color Spot who do not have good quality pots and plants. I definitely recommend this nursery to anyone who wants long lasting flowers in their gardens. I have to say that one December I bought a poinsettia and it lasted apprx 8 months or longer.

I am so very pleased with the quality of plants and the customer service we have received from Cal Color. I have been managing a nursery department in a local hardware store for seven years now and have dealt with various suppliers to meet the needs of my customers. This is our first year of using Cal Color and I am absolutely amazed of the quality of the plants coming to our store. The smaller six pack plants have a larger root base and the plants are so much healthier and crisp. The foliage is large and green, blooms healthy and they sell through very fast. When suppliers use the smaller base the roots dry out quicker in hot weather or drown from over zealous watering. Cal Colors plants look as healthy a few days after delivery if not sold. And I must say, they sell very fast. Not only is the quality the best I have ever seen, so is the service. We are given the same level of service even though we are a community hardware store and not a "big box" client. Recently another supplier that we have used for many years completely ran out of vegetables even though I put an order in early. I was notified days after that there would be no vegetables that week. I called Cal Color and doubled the order. We received everything we requested before the busy weekend. I see a long and happy business relationship with this company. Thanks again!
