Saw a listing on PetFinder for a sweet little maltipoo I thought would be perfect for my mom, who has been looking for a new buddy. Carol was very thorough in her interview with my mom. You can tell she wants to find the best, most well matched home for her fosters. She really cares about the doggies she is helping. The process was smooth and now my mom is happily united with the dog of her dreams. Would recommend working with this rescue!

Called about giving a dog up to them that was given to my mom from a homeless man. Didn't answer the phone professionally. She just said, "This is Carol," I asked to verify if this was the TLC of IE Rescue since i thought they would say their name in the greeting. She did say yes, and I asked if they were taking dogs in. She asked what kind it was, and I said it was a Boxer. And she immediately says,"Oh, I can't take it. I'm handicapped." I said oh...ok thank you, "and she hangs up on me. No proper greeting or farewell, lack of professionalism. And if you couldn't take dogs in, you should've said you were handicapped after I told you the story instead of asking what breed it was, ma'am.

I received my Angel by sheer luck! I was in town for Disney and started looking for a dog to adopt 2 days prior to our flight home. Carolyn worked with my timeframe and I was able to take this little cutie back on the plane with me. This was the best process ever. And Lylah has become the little sister and daughter we needed. Our family is complete! Carolyn is pretty amazing!

My family adopted 2 dogs from TLC and the process was so smooth. Carolyn was great at communicating from the beginning and made the adoption a great experience. She is very kind and was easy to talk to. She really cares for the rescues that she takes in and you can tell they are in good hands. Received paperwork and the dogs vaccine book when we signed the papers. I would recommend TLC of IE to anybody looking to adopt!!! Thank you for everything!!

TLC of IE Rescue is the absolute best rescue to adopt from. I was provided with clear communication and the director provided me with much information for my puppy I adopted. Carol, you gave me my best friend and I’m so grateful to have adopted from such a wonderful non-profit. This organization goes beyond for their animals and they deserve so much recognition for the extent they go to for their rescues. Please consider visiting their website and adopting from this organization. It will be the best decision you ever make. I love my healthy fur baby.

This non profit rescue is absolutely amazing. The director dedicates her life everyday to rescuing dogs, and actually rescued my best friend. TLC of IE was so generous as the adoption fee comes with spay/neuter, vaccines, and coupons. It was a very smooth and exciting adoption process and I ended up with the best puppy ever.
