I bought this vehicle a couple days prior to 11/13/2023 because the car had a check engine light on and I knew that the code had a P0171 error code and I needed to get it fixed so I can pass smog to get it registered. They asked me to come back because they were not able to help me with it that day and on my way home the coolant light came on and I also learned it had a coolant leak. So I took the vehicle back on 11/13/2023 where they wanted me to leave the vehicle for a diagnostic and I asked the mechanic named Jay to take a look at the coolant leak I discovered and he told me that he was going to do a diagnostic for what I originally went there for which I thought was strange because I'm paying for a diagnostic and he's telling me what he's was going to do. And they came back with a list of parts they thought I needed to fix the system lean bank issue at a price of $300 for the parts which I paid for on the spot. They informed me because Thanksgiving was coming up they couldn't work on it right then to bring it back after the holiday. I said no problem and took the car home and the check engine light went off on its own. I had to put off the repair for a week or two because I had to go out of town. But when I went back I asked if I still needed to pay for those parts if the check engine light went off and if I can just do the smog and they told me no because the issue might still be there although the light was off. So I raised the issue with the woman named Selena who took the scanner and showed me although the light was off the code was still present so I proceeded with the repair. I believed I took the car on 12/1/2023 for the actual repair and I went on 12/4/2023 to pick the car up and the check engine light appeared to be off but before I can drive off it came back on. And the mechanic named Jay didn't believe me and so the code was gone and I had him use the scanner and there were two different codes this time. And he asked me to leave the car again so they can fix it and I also asked him to diagnose the coolant leak and I will pay for it as well. I just need it fixed. He agreed. The next day 12/05/2023 I went to pick the vehicle up Jay said that the vehicle had been fixed. The check engine light went off because of faulty sensors and the leak was coming from this small part behind the engine. But the part that he said he replaced looked dry like it never was changed. So I trusted him and drove the car home and as soon as I pulled up into my driveway I noticed a major leak coming from the car which I took pictures of, so I immediately drove back over to his shop and showed him that it was still leaking. He told me that the would check it again and make sure that he would fix it even if he had to buy the part and put it on free of charge. 12/06/2023 I went back to pick the car up the very next day he ensured me that he fixed the car. I drove it home and it seemed to be fine and I left it parked inside of my garage. 12/07/2023 I haven't driven the car that whole day and I headed out to work because I work graveyard and on my way to work my coolant light came on. I got to work and looked for signs of a leak and I didn't see any on the ground but the coolant was low inside of the reservoir. And for the last week I have been losing coolant and constantly replacing it although I had not seen any on the ground so my biggest fear was it getting inside of my engine. And sure enough today is 12/13/2023 and my check engine light is back on. So I feel like I was scammed and these people are incompetent. I paid $865.73 for parts and labor and nothing got fixed. And they tried to charge me an additional $150 for the coolant leak that never got fixed and I feel they made the problem worse. So I am at a point where I need to take my car somewhere else because I didn't want to pay until the car was actually fixed and they ensured me everything was fixed but they just said that to get me to come down there to get my money. So I am going to file a complaint with the Bureau of Auto Repair beca

This company does not have professional mechanics and they will pretend they fixed your car and give you the run around. They will act like the job is done just to get your money only for you to either have the same issues or worse as soon as you drive off. Do not trust them because these are not honest people and they have no integrity. I wish I had enough space to give full details but trust me.

Came to get my car smogged and even though there was a line of cars, they took my car quickly and worked on it. Within an hour I was done. Maybe it took a little bit, but considering the amount of cars I thought it was pretty fast.

On the way to Palm Springs, my Ford Escape broke down. I was lucky enough to get a referral from a gas station nearby this small business. Jay (owner) had his mechanic diagnose the fuel injection problem and repair it perfectly. His daughter even drove us to a car rental agency to get transportation to the desert that day. A huge boost to my confidence in the human race.

After $879 in repairs I was told my car was good to go and had passed a drivability test. Only to have my car randomly shut off while driving. So I returned car and was charged an additional $85 and was told more repairs totaling and additional $850 were required. I declined. They failed to diagnose the problem now I'm out almost $900. I don't recommend.

I've taken my car here the past couple of times that it needed to be smog tested. My car is an older car so it is not uncommon for it to fail smog tests (which it has the past couple of times). The people at Auto Plus Smog & Repair have repaired it in an extremely timely manner and at a reasonable price. The mechanics seem very knowledgeable, and the people there are very communicative. I do plan on revisiting them in the future.Services: Smog certification

Had the old white guy do my oil change. Week went by and decided to check my oil and guess what? it low barely touching the tip and the oil is black. Keep in mind my car is 2018 and I keep up with maintenance. Definitely wont be coming back here and you should too. It seems all mechanics are scam artist.
