Overpriced compared to Ace and True Value. Incredibly rude managers if you happen to run into them, to the point where I won't be shopping here again unless it's an emergency and I can't get what I need from a smaller hardware store. And even then I'll probably just go out to Home Depot if I have to.
It's a shame because I LOVED Orchard Supply Hardware and was there at least twice a month. The nostalgia made me really try to love this place, but this Outdoor Supply Hardware isn't even a shadow of what the old OSH was.
Edited to add: when my last bad experience happened, I emailed the store and contacted OSH through their website the way they recommended in their reply to this review and never got a response from either method, so I do not think that they are actually interested in "the opportunity to make things right".

Stopped in today for a few things. Phillip came right up and asked if I needed help. He walked me to each spot in the store and helped me select everything I needed. He even pushed my cart for me. Friendly staff,

Huge inventory and friendly staff but poor customer service and people who answer the phone don't know specifics about each department. My husband needed to copy car key and came in twice and called several times only to find out that their policy is not to cut blank keys provided by the customer. First time he came they did try to copy my key but machine didn't work and they told him only 1 person Brian knows how to work it, then we called a couple times to see when he'll be there and finally came in again and was told they can't cut my own blank key because they can't guarantee that it will work! They could have told me that on the phone the first time when I called to see if they can even cut this kind of key, it requires a special machine to cut it, but instead we had to make 2 trips and waste 2 weeks waiting for the 1 person who supposedly could do it!

Manager was busy with Christmas Tree setting up and they asked me unknown time to wait!!!!! I was already put on hold when customer service lady at the entrance was trying to reach someone to help me already.Why I have to wait who knows how long for the " manager" will be done
