Wedgwood just hosted our son’s wedding at the Moraga location. Location was beautiful, clean and maintained properly. Food was delicious and the staff was courteous and attentive.
Wedding coordinator Sarah was always available for our last minute concerns and took appropriate action. She kept everything running smoothly.

Beautiful garden area- it was cold and raining for most of the event. We expected that being advertised as a year round venue, they would be able to keep the tent warm and dry.
They had heaters set up around the periphery of the tables but they were turned off most of the time. We were told that the heaters burn propane and it requires too much propane, or it cost too much to keep them on.
We were freezing all evening and there was nowhere on site that we could go to warm up. Many of the guests left early because of the cold!
The entrance to the tent was very wet- there was a large gap between the entrance and the next rain cover. This caused the entrance to be wet and muddy. Many gowns, including the brides gown were ruined as they moved from the tent to the buffet, bar and dance floor ~
The DJ tried to make announcements but could not be heard. Speeches from the parents, best man and maid of honor couldn’t be heard either because the mic and speakers were not working properly ~
When we were told that the happy couple were to cut the cake and start the first dance there wasn’t enough time for everyone to gather there. The groom’s grandmother was in a wheelchair and missed these important traditions because there wasn’t enough time to wheel her to the area.
Everyone working at this event were courteous and accommodating which is why I am giving them 2 stars.
The reason for the low rating is that the venue needs work~ It could be wonderful if the tent and other rooms were warm and transitions between areas were dry~ Until these issues are taken care of, I would not recommend this if you’re planning your event between October and May~

Recently I got to photograph a wedding at Hacienda de las Flores. It's an enchanting Spanish-style estate in the East Bay has always been a personal favorite of mine.
Hacienda de las Flores stunning features makes it truly stand out.
The first thing that captures your attention is the intimate, mature garden setting. The upper lawn is filled with beautiful blue atlas cedar trees, pines, willows, palms, and various flowers. It creates a serene and peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for any occasion for anytime season of the year. The Staff did a wonderful job at executing the couples vision and making their day seamless. A great venue to work with and from my perspective, a great venue to have your wedding at!

It was our first time documenting a wedding here at Hacienda and we absolutely loved the team here and Wedgewood. The team was so communicative and kind. The venue was stunning with so many picturesque locations. And even though we were here in the Winter, the venue was still so stunning. Definitely a venue worth investing in if you're interested in an outdoor setting with amazing staff and backdrops.

We had our wedding at Hacienda de Las Flores on 10/12/2023. It was the first and only venue we looked at - I knew right away it was perfect. I really did not want to have to source everything myself so finding a venue that provided it all was ideal for us. All we had to do was say yes or no and select which options we wanted. We chose the pavillion against the gate for the ceremony and the reception was the lawn. The only thing I will say is if you are all about having a lot of dancing at your reception and plan on having more than 100 people, the dancing area is inside and can be a little crowded. We had 115 total and people were more mingling than dancing so it wasn't a big deal for us. Sara was our day-of coordinator and she was amazing. She was professional and even bustled my train for me after the ceremony. She drove us to and from the ceremony site and the reception site in the golf cart so we didn't have to walk and did constant check-ins with us to make sure we were happy and everything was going smoothly. I have nothing but good things to say about the Wedgewood team and given the chance there's nothing I would change! The food was exceptional; everything was tasty and served warm. Guests were served in a timely manner (we opted for two course plated meals). We had several vegetarian and a few GF guests and WW came through for them by making sure they were provided for. The We went with the vendor provided for the cake and even though we only had one bite each it was amazing and beautiful. They advised us not to go with black icing as it would stain teeth so we went with the suggestion of black fondant instead for the outside of the cake. We also added on flowers from the provided vendor and we didn't see them until the day of but we were very happy with all the florals. Great job a Love is in Bloom! The only complaint I have is regarding the DJ which was the vendor provided by WW as part of our Elite package. We were told he would be reaching out two weeks prior but we didn't hear from them so I went ahead and sent out playlist with spotify links to all the songs. He called us THE DAY BEFORE the wedding and started asking us basic questions that I had already answered in the email. I told him we had already sent the spreadsheet (which was confirmed by the way) and he had me resend it and proceed to go through the songs and make unnecessary comments about our song choices. Fast forward to the next day, our wedding -he missed the cue for the walk back song and also messed up our first dance song three times by playing it at 3-4 times speed somehow. My husband had to walk over and tell him that it was playing too fast. My recommendation is that either the DJ vendor organize themselves better or WW tries a different vendor all together.

We have the pleasure of documenting lots of weddings here every year and can say with 100% certainty that you'll LOVE getting married here. The location is gorgeous but what really makes this a dream wedding destination is the staff. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams (and they take great care of your vendors, too!) We do both photo and video and honestly, the gorgeousness and attention to detail by the staff makes our job easy.If you're looking for an oasis that will serve as an incredible backdrop for your wedding day, consider this place. It's seriously a dream. <3

Hey Bay Area, do yourself a favor and add this to your venue touring list!Upon arriving, Johnny welcomed us in and gave such an incredible touring experience. His energy and passion is simply unmatched. He showed us exactly what the guests would experience as they would enter in, from the ceremony site to reception. No venue have done that for us and I wish they did. The ceremony site and reception area was beautiful, sooo many photo ops. Pictures just don't do this venue justice. We were then brought into the office to chat about the details and Johnny did not pressure us at all.We personally did not end up choosing Hacienda de las Flores as our wedding venue but the team just left such a positive experience for me that I had to leave this review. Really wish this team were the ones planning and coordinating for my wedding.

My niece was married there. The venue and the grounds were beautiful. Interesting history to the place that still has the charm of small manor home.

Hacienda is a beautiful space for an outdoor wedding and has a lot to offer! My husband and I found the staff easy to work with and they were very responsive over email, which put us at ease throughout the process. We were happy with the Wedgewood preferred vendors that we chose to work with, although we chose our own vendors for some services. Overall, they paid attention to detail and executed expertly. We appreciated little details, like when our day-of coordinator, Chrissy, brought us water bottles after the cocktail hour and how the staff even printed and framed a picture of our first kiss as husband and wife and placed it at our dinner table. The facilities are comfortable and beautiful. The bridal suite is spacious and great for photos. The venue has so many different beautiful spots for portraits - everything from manicured gardens to the Spanish architecture to the pavilion to the redwoods and the creek. There were a few minor things we wish had gone differently. We provided our own wine, and the venue forgot to serve it during dinner until we reminded them, and they also forgot to serve the rosé we bought for the cocktail hour. We had asked that wine be passed during cocktail hour and had been told that could be accommodated, but unfortunately they were not able to follow through, and that meant the bar line during the cocktail hour was very long. When we originally booked the venue, we had been told that the doors to the indoor space for dancing could remain open for the duration of the event, and that it would be free flowing from indoor to outdoor. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The security that the venue requires clients to hire was manning the doors during dancing, making sure they stayed closed at all times. This meant the dance floor was not very inviting, and it also meant that there was no music audible for guests who were outside eating cake, getting drinks, or mingling. If having a big dance party is the priority, this may not be the right venue for you. Overall, we were very happy with our experience at Hacienda. We would recommend other couples considering Hacienda work with the venue staff to find ways to make the bar line move faster and discuss how the venue handles the neighborhood noise restriction. A great option for many couples!

Grandsons wedding. No babies allowed? Even nursing babies made it awkward for cousin to attend.

Our tour was very lovely but the terrain to get to the ceremony from the bridle suit was really rough… space is small but beautiful.
