Hands down the best local care in town! I'm bias because my parents had their cars worked on back in the 1970-2020. I recently reached to him after my daughter catalytic converter with CAT shield was stolen at DVC in Pleasant hill. He towed it from the college to Moraga to evaluate. I live in Pleasanton for the last 3 years and I still trust Mo and his stellar staff to care for ALL my cars. He also offers a loaner still even in this upside down world so yeah 5 plus stars! I brought my car to fix a misfire. They have told me it's because of valve cover gasket leak, and offered a replacement. Since car was there for a couple of days, asked to replace shocks and back break rotors. They have replaced me rotors and shocks, and told that I need a new engine, because my V8 is dead. After getting ODB scanner and googling error code, first link was showing the answer... loose cable on ignition coil, which should be the first thing to check when you have misfires... Next week seen 4 or 5 engines on their premises for replacement. Moreover, I have driven a bit more than 1k miles on new shocks, and they started to rumble like old one. They put shitty parts. My neighbor did a body work there.... I could do better with spray can... Stay away from this business.

My car had a low tire. I stopped and asked for some air for the tire to get me out of town safely, knowing I likely had a leak that would need to be fixed. Not only did they immediately give me the air I needed, but fixed the tire on the spot. Great service and kind people.

Moraga is a small, isolated city and services (such as gas stations) are few and far between, so don't pass this location up if you are in the area and need gasoline immediately; you will find few other options without some driving around. There is a Valero gas station just down the street and the only other option is a small-brand gas station about a mile away on Moraga Way. Other than that, it will take some driving to find more gas stations.

100% recommend! Moe has worked on all our cars for at least 20 years. He's very knowledgeable and trustworthy. The work is always finished on time and he always helps me out with any little problems that come up. He just did the brakes on my BMW X5 and the bill was $14 LESS than 4 years ago!

Well knowledgeable staff. I had to go there to get my starter repaired. Contacted them the prior day to get the part that I needed. I was not talked down to, being a woman which is a big plus in my book. I was given the option of actual vs after market part, and went with the aftermarket part to save funds. After the repair was taken care of, I received a text and then a phone call indicating such. Will be definitely heading there for future service . Thank you

They are dishonest and will try and take advantage of whoever comes in for a simple oil change by telling you your vehicle needs more services than just an oil change which is a lie ! Beware of this corner shop and make the time to go to a trusted mechanic

I just stopped by with what I thought was a giant nail in my tire. They looked at it immediately. Took the nail out (turns out it was a tiny one) and then checked all my tires and put air in for me at no charge! Nice guys! Will go back again for my auto needs!

I wish I could give negative stars. Moe and his team of "experts" will take your car and return it to you with all kinds of unrelated problems. Moe himself will look you right in the eye and say "it was like that when you brought it to me", as if people are idiots and don't understand anything about cars. What he doesn't seem to understand is that not everyone who brings a car in has no idea how to fix cars. Some people just don't have the time, tools, or desire. We'd all have mechanic shops if that were the case. This place is the classic example, the stereotype even, of a mechanic who rips people off. What's worse, they are willing to damage your vehicle in order to have you come back in and fix something else. Something that wasn't wrong with it before his lovely team of "experts" touched it. Dishonesty at its best can be found at Moe's shop.

I have taken all my cars to Moe over the last 5 years including a Jag, an old Datsun a box truck and a Smart. They are all different and unusual cars, but Moe can work on them all. All the mechanics are friendly and trustworthy and I like their work.

Every time my car has needed repairs this has been my go to place. Fast and professional service: I've gotten my car back in perfect working order the same day I took it down. It's best to go down in the early morning and get everything set up as that will decease your total wait time.
