Something was constantly broken from the equipment and they wanted to kick me out because I was making a video of myself. But you can take photos, what’s the logic?

Great community gym in Moraga. Only suggested improvements are a more timely response to maintenance issues such as the water fountain and to extend hours in the evenings.

Trying to get into shape and start a new year with physical health goals. Was gonna purchase an annual pass but wanted to do a 3-day trial first to see the location, equipment and schedule. Says online "Try Us for 3 Days Free", signed up and got the pass. When got to this gym, was told it costs $25.This is false advertisement and false offer. Please either don't say 3-day trial pass is free, or actually acknowledge the offer.Called the gym number at 10:45am on 2/11/2024, a staff called Emma or Zemma took the call. When asked about the inconsistency between online offer and the price in the club. Her answer was "I really don't know". It is black and white online says Try Us for 3 Days Free. An employee who does know the sales details is either not well trained or incompetent at the job.It made me feel unwelcomed and lied to in a way. Filed complaint with 24 hours fitness and will file to bbb and other consumer agencies.

Hot water still broken after months, other chilled fountain was extremely noisy for almost a year and was never serviced till it broke, and has stayed broken for months. 24 hour fitness gym closes at 8 (?!), bathrooms always reek of urine and the same zyn has been in a urinal for weeks now. Floors are stained black as if they've never been mopped. At least equipment is less frequently broken and cleaner than Walnut Creek, but for the most part, that's an incredibly low bar. I can almost guarantee the owner will reply back to this with a generic response that does not address any of the concerns.

No hot water for two months now. This is ridiculus, When you call to ask about it, they always reponde the same thing: "they are still negotiating for it".Are you kidding me!? This is beyond cheap guys.

Equipment is broken for months. There’s no hot water for a long time and no notifications to members about no hot water issue.

Haven't really updated any equipment since they opened, the staff don't clean or put back equipment I usually see them just socializing.

Has a good assortment of weights. Weights do not go over 110lbs for dumbbells. And you need to find the hours that work best for you.

This is my main go-to gym since it reopened after COVID. Prior to this, I went to the one on Main in Walnut Creek (the smaller Active club by the BART station, not the big Super Sport a mile down the road). The good:- 6 squat racks- Large free weight and weight machines- Gym and bathrooms are clean- Front desk staff is friendly- Gets busy at times at the weights section, but never really super crowded- Good mix of people from older, retired people, middle aged people, college and high school students; everyone is generally friendly and there isn't a lot of drama here- Plenty of cardio machines (usually you can get on one even during the busiest times)- Plenty of parkingThe bad: - Not a Super Sport gym despite its designation- Limited hours (used to be 24 hours before COVID) - No towel service (at least since reopening since COVID)Bottom line:Good place to get your basic work out in, whether you do classes, cardio or weights. You won't get things like a sports court, sauna, swimming pools, etc. The gym is nestled in a community where it's not that easy to get to, and so you get a relatively local crowd. It's the same people you see day in, day out, but everyone is friendly and no drama happening here. You will see a lot of people of all ages, from a 75 to 80 year old folks to teens from the local high schools. This isn't a meat market environment like other gyms, and no one is here to judge you.I don't know if this gym will ever get back to 24 hours like before. I heard that they don't have enough people to work here, so that limits the hours. I wouldn't mind if they stayed open to 11, as at 10 pm, there is still a number of people there working out. It would alleviate some of the crowd at 7 to 8 pm.A little bit of history. I remember when the building housing the gym was built. Contrary to what another reviewer said, the gym is the only business to ever occupy this building (i.e. this building was built for the gym, and there was no other business that occupied the building before). This gym replaced a much much smaller Linda Evans fitness center across the street in the Rheem center, which got acquired by 24 Hour Fitness. I think the reason this gym was designated a Super Sport was mainly because it was a brand new building, and it is an affluent area, so they thought people were willing to pay extra, despite not having the same amenities as real Super Sports.

I’ve been in all the 24 around the Bay Area and this is definitely the best. Even with the teenagers ☠️ during the school breaks and summer, still the best, everything is always clean and equipped.

I purchased a full year and paid 300 lump sum for 12 months. I used the gym 3 times starting in August 2022 and my last visit was 9/2/23 before I moved away to Reno where there is no 24 hr fitness. In March 2023 I moved to Vegas and there is a 24 hr fitness. I am needing an upgrade to national to use the vegas club and they said to call Moraga. The manager Osha at Moraga said she cant upgrade me to national. So essentially Moraga stole 11 months of service that I paid for. I highly advise anyone to reconsider joining this 24 hr fitness or any other as they commit fraud and steal your money and are inflexible by writing crooked contracts to steal money. When you pay for a service you should receive the service. I am filing a BBB complaint against Moraga 24 hr fitness with Osha named as the manager and I am also filing a complaint with the corporate office. I encourage anyone else who has had similar problems to do the same. I should also mention that the 1st day I was at this Moraga 24 hr fitness that a man was complaining that his car was stolen after parking to workout. His keys were in the combo lockers that only staff can unlock. That raises a question of the caliber of employees staffed at this location. How many more cars have been stolen there?

The hours are insane here. Why do they close so early, makes no sense. Gym itself is decent and clean, but the hours need to change.

Great space and equipments seem to be good. However the reception was terrible. I just went there because I got a 3 day free pass online and wanted some information about membership and the guy who was at the front desk was extremely rude. Not the type of treatment you’re expecting at your first visit!
