Was sold a floor model, thinking I got a deal on a new model.Customer service wasn't helpful on phone, wouldn't adjust the difference for misunderstanding. The Whirlpool works good for the last 10 years. But I haven't bought anything here since then as my first purchase here left a bad taste.

I had a great experience with this company the moment I called the Moorpark center. I am so happy that David Wyckoff picked up the phone. He not only helped me make the decision on what to purchase as he is very knowledgeable about the appliance I was looking for, but had me go look at the oven at another WDC store to make sure it was what I wanted (it wasn't in stock at his store at the time) he had the order ready to go and he made it very easy once I came in to pay for the oven. The oven arrived in less than a week and was installed today by Manny who was so pleasant and got the job done quickly. I'm thrilled with my new oven!

They sold me a defective washing machine and have refused to let me return it after only having it for a few weeks. I started having issues with the washing machine in the first week. The Technician that they sent out said the door panel was defective. They didn't return my calls or emails. I left multiple messages to the VP of sales and he also did not return my calls. I could never recommend this company to anyone.

We bought a Samsung microwave from WDC Moorpark in 2021. It stopped working 7 weeks ago. We had purchased the extended service warranty but have had nothing but frustration trying to get it repaired. It took a week for a technician to arrive. However, their repair company messed up on the arrival time and I had to waste 2 additional hours waiting for them to show up. The technician was not prepared and asked me for a step stool. I found a folding chair. He then tried to tell me there was no power to the outlet. I knew better because I had just checked it with my own meter. Then he said they needed to order parts which took two weeks. Add on another week to schedule the appointment. Two technicians showed up. Again I had to provide a folding chair for them to stand on and a towel to set the oven so it would not scratch the countertop. The oven worked at first but failed again 4 days later. Another week passed before they could come back. The technician could not get it to work. Another week has passed. No word from anyone. WDC refuses to stand behind the insurance company that dropped the ball and who can't even get their chosen repair company to respond with what the technician said on the last visit. I am due a refund for this lemon of a microwave. It is the last time I ever buy anything from WDC or buy an extended warranty. Repair people show up unprepared, no parts in hand, you have to be on call for 3 and 4 hour show-up windows (tell me how you pull that off when you work!), return visits are weeks apart, you lose use of the appliance for the entire time, and no one seems to care at all. In fact, when partway through this travesty I complained that this was an everyday use appliance, the WDC person who handles the warranty repair requests said, "not for me, I cook." Think about that level of arrogance.

We had a GE single oven for over 24 years since our home was built and after it finally gave out, we decided to try WDC appliance Kitchen and bath store in Moorpark. We selected GE once again because of the durability of the original oven. The double oven we purchased from the store along with a 5 year extended warranty we thought we would be set for years. The oven was clearly not made of the same quality and truly seemed like it came from a factory of substandard workmanship, quality from a third world country and as it turns out, lacking basic reliability. The bottom oven had a terrible slide rack system that would bind and we could not get them to freely move in and out of the oven. We knew this was a defective product so we contacted to store and they sent a technician out to evaluate. He concluded that the racks were defective and he ordered new ones. When they arrived, they were slightly smaller in gauge and seem to fit better, but it didn't last and the problem would return with the racks binding. The store sends you a follow up satisfaction survey via text, but when you advise them of the unresolved issue, you hear nothing back at all from them. Well about the 6 month mark, my wife was using the lower oven and opened the door after preheating it and was getting ready to place a dish on the rack when she heard a crack sound. She looked down and saw that the inner glass of the oven door had cracked inexplicably. When I went over and looked, it appeared the glass wasn't even tempered or heat treated in any way. All I can think of is the glass when opened and exposed to room temp air cause the substandard/defective glass to crack. So now the bigger issue. I felt this oven, with it's defective problems identified in just 6 months would cause the store to do all it could to address the concerns of the customer. I'm here to say that WDC does not seem the least bit interested in what kind of customer service it provides. It is difficult to reach there customer service reps, it is unprofessional, and it does not stand by it's products it sells. They tell you to take your complaint with the manufacturer. They don't seem to think a bad customer experience reflects on them in any way. They don't seem to care if GE is supplying them with substandard products. They aren't willing to make things right for the customer. Anyone would have to agree that a brand new oven should not have experienced these types of problems. As i said from the start, our Oven that came with the house went 24 years problem free. So I offer this personal experience to caution anyone considering buying their appliances at WDC Kitchen and Bath in Moorpark. I don't know what has become of GE company. I know their stock took a dive in recent years. But as a customer of WDC, I tried to make clear that I could not simply accept them only offering to replace the broken glass, when there is no assurance that this won't be a repeated problem. The store left me no choice but to file a complaint with the BBB. Unfortunate

DO NOT BUY OPEN BOX APPLIANCES FROM THIS STORE! This is the worst experience I have ever had with a store.I bought $16k worth of Monogram appliances, two of which were open box (refrigerator and freezer) from Ronald Mendez. Of course the fridge and freezer were described as perfectly fine and that the only reason they are open box is because they were the demo units in the showroom. The inspection forms also show the units are complete and working. When we went to install the fridge and freezer, we noticed many parts were missing, including but not limiting, the plug of the fridge was broken, and we could not check how the units function. Their "solution" was to submit this issue as a warranty claim to GE. After dealing with technicians who are not informed of the issues, we finally got a new plug on the fridge. We plugged it in and the refrigerator is not cooling.I have called customer service multiple times, but they have refused to provide a solution and always tell me they will call me back.I would never recommend this store to anyone. They sell defective products, and their customer service is nonexistent. I am so disappointed and frustrated and will now have to resort to small claims court and filing complaints with the California AG and BBB.

Do not under any circumstances purchase from WDC. We bought an LG fridge with water/ice dispenser 4.5 years ago. Nothing but trouble. The compressor went out in May '23 and we lost everything. I barely saved 5 months of frozen breastmilk, 2 weeks before returning to work from maternity leave. Less than 2 months later the icemaker died for probably the 3-4 time. I have had to jump through hoops to get scheduled through extended warranty on a Sat. We work during the week. I just wasted my whole morning waiting for a tech to spend 3 MINUTES to write down the model number and say 'I have to order the part, it'll be maybe another week or more'. It's been 3 weeks as it is. I will NEVER purchase from WDC again. They will not cash the unit out as a lemon, because they can inconvenience me with continued repairs on different parts until my warranty is done.

Paul in the bath section is probably the nicest, most genuine, competent, and honest sales person on the planet. After an issue with our order was discovered he went way out of his way and stuck his neck out to ensure the situation was resolved and we left happy and satisfied. A superior sales person and more importantly a superior person. What a great guy! Thanks Paul for helping turn our bathroom renovation nightmare into a dream bathroom. See you again for sure at the moorpark store!

Not impressed with prices! We went from isle too isle but it was the 1900s style washer and dryers that were still over priced and OUTDATED. Truth is the place was a ghost town. They need to come down on those prices to match their business purpose claim. Clean place though.

We purchased an LG Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher from Ron 6 months ago and he has been great as far as knowledge and attempting to help. Our dishwasher has continued to be a problem now going on 6 months. Brennan from customer care has been difficult at best to get ahold of but we have been told he is our one and only contact. With our persistence we have had three service visits and sadly to say our unit is still not working. We have been told there are no LG service techs available in our area (then why are you selling LG products?) With no results we have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau; called them yesterday and they received a first response from WDC but not a follow-up. I then called Brennan yesterday and got the usual voice mail; still no response. I'm not a person to give up and will continue with every avenue possible until this issue is resolved; praying that my Washer and Dryer continue to be problem free. -John S. Ashley: You are not being truthful. As I mentioned there were three services. The first tech mentioned adjusting the top rack "may" solve the problem; it did not. The second service the tech came out took our information; briefly looked at the dishwasher and said he would have to order a control panel. The tech returned with the control panel (third service visit) installed it but did not wait 2 1/2 hours for a full cycle and as mentioned the unit is still not working. While we are insisting on replacing the unit we have not denied service; my question to you is how many visits will you schedule before deciding it should be replaced. While we adjust our schedule to be home for repairs within your specified time block it makes this purchase all the more unpleasant. AGAIN we are not denying service.

Stopped in to check out the kitchen faucets as we had a good experience when we bought our fridge a few years back. We found one my wife liked and wanted to see if it came in another color. Unfortunately, although there were 7 - 8 employees sitting around without customers, the one associate who works in that department was occupied. After waiting 8 minutes while the sales person was having a personal conversation with the customers we tried to get another associate who could answer a simple question. Since everyone works on commission no one was interested in attempting to assist us so we left. Sadly we will have to move on to another business everyone here was interested in sitting around and twiddling their thumbs.
