Wrote the owner about landscaping our side yard. Guess it wasn't a big enough job because she ignored the email. Not good for business. Won't go there again.

My husband and I worked with Laurie of Sterling Gardens and we could not be more pleased with the final outcome! Sterling Gardens is a one-stop shop offering full array of services - from design consultation - plant selection - demo - staging - planting - irrigation - lighting and future landscape management. Of special note, Laurie is super knowledgeable; she listened to all of our concerns, and took the time to explain what would work and what would not for our location. Sterling's landscape crew was very professional and meticulous. They arrived promptly, cleaned up at the end of each day and left our property better than they found it! Thank you Sterling, we are definitely customers for life!

Would not recommend! Not careful or precise! Sterling Nursery did landscaping for our neighbors' yard and decided to pull out all of our plants in the process.

We purchased 3 trees, 5 flowering vines, and a LOT of ficus for our backyard. Laurie had her crew transform our yard including pulling up and replanting existing plants for maximum appeal. They put in new soil and all new drip lines. Several months later, in spite of record heat, everything is still beautiful and growing.Laurie even went to our neighbors on our behalf to alert them to a potential leak in their pool which was saturating the ground in our yard. Top notch service, professional, and they work fast.

I found whatever this place is to be very confusing. My navigator guided me there and I pulled past the sign and through the gates down a beautifully landscaped road that said Sperling nursery, and I parked my car in a lot. I found acres of beautifully arranged plants with no prices no labels, no descriptions no one to help it was like sort of a twilight zone. A couple of employees drove up to me in an ATV and I asked them if this was a retail nursery and they said no retail was too expensive so I assumed they meant no we do not accept retail trade. Yet from their website, it seems like they do. I don't know what's going on here, but they really need to tighten up their operation so that people know where to park and where to shop or whether they shouldn't even bother to come and waste their time here. Very disappointing.

Money hungry? I've been there two days in a row. One gallon: $10. Five gallon: $26. Today I found out that a near by nursery sells one gallons for $6.50. When I asked if I could get a discount for my 6 one gallons, I would have preferred the guy to say "no" instead of telling me an entire story and lying. I was literally standing next to two workers who were taking small plants out of one gallon containers and putting them in five gallon containers. They could have given me a $1 discount on six ($54 vs $60) and I would have been happy. Now they lost a customer.

I have purchased rose bushes here a few times when they were on sale and they have thrived when planted, producing gorgeous blooms. The plants were healthy and reasonably priced. The staff I interacted with was friendly, too. I will return.

A salesmen at Sterling Gardens Nursery tried to rip me off today. I went in to buy a fountain and I found the fountain I wanted. They had two of the exact same fountain, just slightly different coloring. They price their fountains by writing directly on them with a paint type substance that looks a bit like chalk. These two fountains were both priced at $560. When I went to purchase the fountain the salesman told me the fountain was $685… $125 MORE THAN THEIR LISTED PRICE! I pointed out that they were priced at $560, not $685. He went back and forth with me a bit and long story short he refused to sell the fountain for their listed price. I asked to speak with a supervisor, thinking maybe that would resolve this and he said he was the manager. I then asked to speak with the owner, knowing they obviously don’t want their sales people ripping off customers and he said the owner was unavailable and will not be available. I’m sure this could be easily resolved with the owner if there’s a way to reach them.
