Great experience at Pacific Coast this week. My 17 year old took his first car, a 2008 F150, in to get a laundry list of issues checked out. We needed somewhere local due to his school and work and him having learned that time is money. We knew Pacific Coast was an Auto body shop and the trucks issues were small but decided to check them out.Mark, Dakota and crew went above and beyond. They fixed the issues they could (door lock not working, unstable turn signal arm, etc) and spent time with my son on each issue. They stepped through what was going on, what was involved in fixing and gave him the guidance on how/where to get the other issues fixed.Great experience for my son and for me letting him handle it on his ownServices: General repairs & maintenance

Couldn't have asked for a better body shop that gets your car back to the condition it was in prior to any collision and even better. The customer service here is immaculate and they will not try and manipulate you during the repair process. Straight forward, consistent and beyond amazing work.

Dakota was extremely professional and helpful and buffed and painted the scratches on my car. Dakota charged a very reasonable amount and also gave us a ride to our home and came and picked us up from our home after he was done fixing my car. I would highly recommend this shop when you require any auto body work done on your car.

I do not comment here regularly, but after my experience today with Dakota at Pacific Coast Auto Body in Moorpark, I felt others should know that this is a safe and reliable shop where you will feel more than comfortable when given advice as to how to fix your vehicle! I brought our car in for an estimate and Dakota was not only honest and personable, he made sure I understaood and was comfortable with the repairs required after we were rear ended by an uninsured and unlicensed driver. I intended to bring our car to two other shops for estimates but I felt so comfortable with Dakota, I scheduled the repair for next week without vising any other body shops. I love and appreciate local, family owned businesses. Pacific Coast Auto Body is the perfect business to support and tell our friends about!

I had damage to my suburban a few years ago and PCAB did a good job fixing my car. At that time my interactions were with Dakota. He was awesome. Fast forward a few years and I had some paint peeling on the work completed by PCAB. I reached out to Dakota to have this fixed because the paint was still under warranty and after a few logistical obstacles I was able to bring in the car to have them fix the paint. This is when I met Mark who was new to the situation but was very rude and abrasive when I asked questions about the process. Dakota was not present when I dropped off the car so Mark seemed annoyed and flat out agitated I was asking questions about my warranty claim. Dakota later called me to confirm it would be fixed and with a quick turn around time. True to his word the car was done the next day. I then picked it up the following morning and no Dakota so I had to deal with Mark for pick up. As I started looking at the paint the first thing Mark says is "now don't go looking for any problems now" in a rude tone. As though I'm not suppose to exam my car when there is body work done to it. I pointed out that the paint looked and felt bumpy and his reply was " what do you expect it's paint on plastic". I also noticed the bumper was popped out a little where the paint was fixed and Mark began giving me a 5 minute lecture about how Chevy "really blew it" on making my car and blabbed on about its craftsmanship and took no responsibility for his companies work or paint. At that point I figured I better count my losses and just leave as I could tell the situation was becoming hostile. He seemed very annoyed, rude, and flat out disgruntled with the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. He just walked away and didn't even tell me where my keys were. Obviously I found them in the driver side door . But DAMN . It was minor issues I had which could have been worked out but with such bad service there was nothing to work out. Obviously I will never do business at this place and I should have listened to my insurance agent and gone to their recommended Body Shop. My insurance agent could have been an advocate on warranty or claim issues with a Body Shop. Lesson learned. I must add through all this Dakota remained pleasant and was great to work with.
