I took my car in for some unknown noise issues. They treated me very well and even took the time to send me a video once they found the problem. Turnaround time once they fixed the issues was less than 24hrs. They replaced a ball joint, CV axle, and a belt, which was the main issue but I opted to replace the other 2 items and I'm glad I did. Rides so much smoother and the noise is gone.Highly recommend!

Great customer service and speed of service. Michael is a professional at his craft. My 9th gen accord v6 needed a new timing belt and water pump. Not only did he do that but he checked for oil leaks and pressure washed the under carriage. Highly recommend his services!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My drivers side automatic window stopped working last week and It would not roll up. Needless to say, I was in a bit of pinch & to top it off, I needed to pick up my parents from the airport on this same day. I was in the Moorpark area and searched & found Dave's Auto Repair Service. I stopped by & was greeted by the owner (Michael). Showed him my predicament & he worked his mechanic magic & was able to get my window to go back up. Turns out, I needed a new auto window switch. He ordered the part & it arrived a few days later where he installed it very quickly. Needless to say, I was very satisfied and will definitely be back if I need more repairs on my car.

Michael has been my mechanic for over 3 years. It's hard to find a good, HONEST mechanic that you can trust but he's one of them. 10/10 would recommend!! He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. Solid service!

Worst experience ever. I paid to have a engine installed in my car when I finally arrived to pick it up my whole car was shaking and making a loud hissing noise I asked him why it sounded that way he said that's normal which was ridiculous. Got stranded at work because he left the nut loose on the starter solenoid he also forgot to install the rubber boot that connects to my airbox there were bolts missing from my ABS mount and basically it ran like crap after having it for a few days I realized that it had a blown head gasket that's why it ran so bad. So I take it back to him and he tells me he's going to replace the engine again when it's finally ready I am amazed that it runs pretty good until I open the hood and noticed one of my transmission bolts just sitting on top of The transmission. This Guy has a problem tightening bolts as long as it's just a couple bolts I think he can handle it but when it comes to replacing an engine I would never go back to him he even left bolts loose on my alternator and my belts were squeaking but I discovered that and tighten them so I drive this engine for A few months and then out of nowhere it blows out the cam seal and starts dumping oil all over the place I take it back to him and he tries saying that I must've hit something he keeps asking me did you run into something which was super annoying so finally he replaces my cam seal after trying to charge me for doing the job that was under warranty which was also ridiculous I pick my car up and he has put red paint on all the bolts telling me that he's sure he tightened all the bolts I couldn't believe that he put red paint all over my engine what a moron but I didn't say anything so another month goes by and I'm driving home and I hear this loud clattering noise and I discovered that the main alternator bolt has backed all the way out because he didn't tighten it when he was working on replacing the cam seal and it was the only bolt that he didn't put red paint on. This place is a total joke worst so called mechanic he literally can't remember anything you tell him. He tries to blame the customer for his own mistakes which is really sad. Shop is a mess. No place to park cars.He also cross threaded one of my front lug nuts.Stay away....

Had to bring back my truck...started off with an engine clean..which came out perfect! Considering my Silverado is 1997! He found an additional problems after the pressure clean up and order the parts on the spot...visible leaks in one hoses and fixed it. Just installed a gearbox yesterday and with everything that has been done,my truck is running performance has improved dramatically and I am very satisfied with all the work that has been done! Aldo actually takes the time to explain all work that needs to be done! Very professional!! Thanks again for all your hardwork and I do appreciate it! I definitely bring all my car needs back to Aldo for repairs when needed...also I have also let family and friends know of Dave's Automotive....Thanks again Aldo!!! Lisa Alexx

Honest. Fast and Friendly Service. Fair Pricing. Professional. We had a problem with what we thought was our starter and we needed new motor mounts. They ordered parts right away and saved us a spot of the next day. We called and received a reasonable estimate and Mike worked with us when we needed to get our car towed out to them. The starter ended up being cables with corrosion that just needed a cleaning and the motor mounts were replaced at a reasonable price. Car is running great again and we are happy to have found a place where there is integrity and great service! Thanks again to Mike and team!! Highly recommended! Great team!!
