“Cypress boutique is a cute little vintage shop for clothing and accessories right off of lighthouse ave in Monterey! The owner is super sweet and helpful. We found lots of great items here that are all high quality as well as affordable! Highly recommend stopping in this shop next time you are in Monterey!”

“The staff and service is absolutely amazing, they are always friendly and helpful. The shoes are amazing, vans are always my go-to, I've never been to this location and struggled to find my size. The shoes are pricey but with all the sales they offer and how long the shoes last it is worth it to me. I've been to a few locations and this one is definitely my favorite”
“Monterey Hot Topic is the best one I have ever shopped at. The store is always clean and easy to shop. Everything is where it should be and makes sense to the shopper. My youngest is a hardcore HT customer and only likes going into this location. From the first time I walked into this location customer service is more than amazing it's personal. They all take the time to look at my account and see my past purchases to make sure I'm not getting the same items or when I can't figure out what to get they suggest similar items. I have held the position in retail from a new associate all the way to DM and I would hire each person in there because of their outstanding customer service and dedication. In the 2 yrs that my kid and I have been shopping here I have never had a bad experience.”
“This store is soooo cute and interesting! Spent a lot of time laughing in the store. My new favorite local shop for sure! I decided to bring a friend from out of town here after I received what were my favorite Christmas gifts this year. I thought we’d spend like 20 minutes in there, but it was closer to 45 min or so because there were so many interesting items to check out. My buddy and I gifted each other really cute socks! My friend, who’s an introvert received socks that said “Friends don’t make friends hang out”. I was gifted socks that had a sunset and said, “Let that shit go”. The owner was such a pleasure to talk to and hear her story about the store. You can tell she carefully curates the items and is passionate. Very cool experience.”

“Fantastic boutique with great selection of women's clothing. Only had a few minutes before we had to leave for home, but the associates helped all of us in our group find wonderful items that fit each one of us. The store is organized by color and complementary colors. Nice selection of accessories and quality was very nice for affordable prices. The colors and soft textures were exactly what I was looking for!”
“Visited this shop to look for affordably priced long sleeves and sweaters because I severely underestimated the weather and mostly packed tank tops for my trip. They had a couple of 50% off areas and I was able to find some T’s and sweaters for $25-$35! Also, check your receipt. The register does not have a display showing the charges and one shirt I purchased that was marked 50% off did not get caught until after I walked out.”
“This shop was one of the few places that really attracted my attention when it came to interesting merchandise. I just love browsing a store that has a lot of variety with an international flare. A variety of eye catching clothing in lovely styles and colors. Spending time to explore is a must! You'll find singing bowls, drums, jewelry, cultural nick knacks, decorative items for the home, wind chimes, statuary, art work, rocks & crystals. The whole shop is filled with items from top to bottom. I would have loved to make several purchases, but the only downside for me, was that everything was too pricey! I'm a tourist on a budget, and I know that I can get many of these items much cheaper back home!”
“One of my favorite stores while shopping in this mall.. I found the staff to always be friendly and attentive to customer needs. Unlike some stores where the customer is ignored. I was always greeted with a friendly smile when walking into this place. I loved the variety of merchandise. They always had great shirts. And the latest in patterns. I really liked digging through the sales racks. Always fun to see what bargains I could find. There were always great sweaters too. And such colorful underwear. This store is a great place to shop.”

“This is an incredible store. The staff at this particular location are much friendlier and attentive than at my home store. We were greeted as we walked into the store, and the staff were quick to assist me in finding just the right shirts and sweaters I was looking for. Even the check out procedure went quickly. The cashier was very well trained and knew exactly what she was doing. I really appreciated the high standards of professionalism I found at this store. The manager here has done a great job training the team members.”

“This place is small but with lots of items.We didn't have too much time to look through all the areas since there are large amounts of items. Not sure if it was new or had little of opening at this location but we could not find it on Yelp.The employee was kind, helpful and she was very friendly. The clothes looked good; nothing stood out for us but the prices were pretty "typical" of a thrift store. Definitely cheaper than the usual Goodwill stores.It is not the best organized store and it's not where you come to find "anything" you need but rather whenever you're not looking for anything and have time to look through things. Some items looked old and maybe some not useful while others looked old and could be considered "vintage". Overall an okay place to at least check out at least once.”
“I have found that for a retail store, Soma is heads above V.S. in quality of product. Yes, Soma stores carry less options than the competitor, but they dont need it.
