I went to All Automotive with a leaking oil pan. I had been quoted an exorbitant amount to replace the pan after visiting Matteson's in Pacific Grove. Edgar and his crew fixed the oil pan and I was out of there the same day for a very reasonable rate. The staff is friendly, the garage and office are immaculate, and I will only return to All Automotive in the future.

Same great service as Toms in a slightly harder to find location. So glad the team from the old shop is still around. My family has used them for decades and I'm sure my kids will too. Honest and reliable garage, nothing else to say.

Beware, taking your car to a shop that does not want your business is dangerous!! We know the new owner, Edgar, from Tom's on Abrego. Tom retired and Edgar moved the shop. Edgar needs Tom to run a business. I booked my car two weeks in advance. When dropping the car off Edgar was writing down my complaint was a noise. This is the 3rd conversation I had with him about this, the last was the night before IN PERSON! "There is no noise" I told him. A few minutes into the conversation he said we "need to hear the noise!" What noise? I said again, "there is no noise." I moved on to address the car lunging from a stop and addressed broken motor mounts and the connection of motor to the tranny. Edgar said, "we don't work on transmissions." I said, " it is the connection I'm concerned about. I feel unconfortable driving it. After going around and around in circles with Edgar I left to take my car elsewhere. Edgar has a lot of Tom's clients which has kept him busy. Edgar does not have a customer skillset, does not listen and is belligerent. As Edgar loses customers and his business slows perhaps then he will get a clue or maybe not and blame the economy.

It's taken me an unfortunately long time to write this review as I've been driving cross country. Before coming to Tom I was in a huge rut. I had to be across the country in 2 weeks and my car was having drivability issues along with the check engine light being on. It was waiting at the Chevy dealership for a part that they told me they had no idea when would arrive. I called Tom's and was immediately able to schedule an appointment with them. When they looked at my car they were able to fix it in a day and charged me less than 200 dollars for something the dealership was quoting at $1,800. I could not recommend this place enough. And would also actively encourage anyone to avoid going to the jiffylube across the street from this location as they were the ones who originally messed up my car (incorrectly installed my air filter)! I wish I could remember the name of the man behind the desk who scheduled my appointment because he was great as well. The employees here were able to reassure me, help me, and save me hundreds of dollars. If u ever have car troubles please seek the help of Tom's Auto Shop!

TLDR: not trust worthy, lied about how long they worked on my car.Came in because my Mazda was having an issue with the air conditioning, was told it would take an hour to diagnose. Got a call later that day when they had “spent an hour” and was told it was going to be another hour and I’d have to pay for it. I told them no thanks and I would take it to another shop. When I got there the manager had me sit down in his office so that his technician could finish up.Took him another 30 minutes until he came back with a diagnosis… they didn’t even look at my car until I told them I was going to take it somewhere else. Long story short, they lied about how long they were looking at my car and tried to add on another hour of labor charges.

Great experience with my vehicle. No bull s*** and no waiting like the oil change across the street (jiffy lube) Tom's is reliable and professional abs gets my respect
