I had some issues with the chemicals in my spa, so I called them up.Monica on the phone was very friendly and told me exactly what I needed, so I went down before they closed.The salesman Joe helped me troubleshoot where I was going wrong.He helped educate me with a simple and fast daily check up of my spa, which I've implemented with great success.Joe recommended some test strips that were a little different than the ones I'd been using.The ones I bought from them are easier to read than the other brand I was used to.This made a huge difference in how well I keep my water balanced.I also bought 2 new filters (mine are small) for my spa that I rotate.This makes it much easier to do my biweekly cleaning of the filters.That coupled with Joe's approach of adding chemicals right after I'm done soaking makes it really easy.This is now my go to place when it comes to anything spa related.They also have really cool fireplace options which I'll fully take advantage of with an upcoming remodel.Thanks again for all the help, Monica and Joe!I'm looking forward to coming in and getting set up with a new fireplace.Cheers!

Installers were top notch. They have a large show room and they don't cut corners but if you want the best they are simply awesome. Great customer service and wonderful fit and finish on our home fireplace and spa!

I have known Bill for many years. And I have never met a more sincere, knowledgeable, professional businessman in my life. When I bought my hot tub with my wife he invited me to come and get in one of the hot tubs and experience it as we had never owned a hot tub before. We took him up on the offer and the rest is history. He gave us all of the information and answered all of our questions. He was not pushy and we came back after several months and purchased our tub. Now after many years we are looking to upgrade as the technology has changed and many features have been added to the current line of hot tubs. Once again Bill and his group of Sales Professionals answered our questions and made some recommendations. We purchased a new tub and have never been happier. Knowledge, selection, service and price at Spas by the Bay can not be beat. Do yourself a favor and get that Hot Tub you have been wanting and enjoy all of the benefits that it will bring to your life. Thank you Spas by the Bay!

My wife always wanted a hot tub, and Spas by the Bay totally hooked us up! The delivery and setup went as smoothly as I could ever imagine. I couldn’t believe how easy it was for us. Whenever we’ve had maintenance questions, someone’s been available to give us friendly advice and great recommendations. The owner has a great personality, and is always fun to get talking with. He always makes me laugh!They even threw in an inflatable cushion for my wife to sit up a little higher when she’s soaking!

I was very happy with my purchase of a hot tub from Spa's by the Bay. They were very accommodating when I couldn't take possession of the hot tub when it arrived at their warehouse. I would definitely recommend Spa's by the Bay for a Hot tub.

We absolutely love our hot tub!!!!!! Overnight feels like a luxury spa experience in the comfort of our home with outstanding sunset views! The staff removed our old hot tub and installed the new one perfectly! Quick, efficient and professional. I told them what I had in mind and what was in my budget and they were kind, courteous and found me the perfect tub. I can't recommend them enough. The best place, hands down to make your dreams come true. Go treat yourself! We all deserve to have our home be a sanctuary.

I have purchased 3 hot tubs from Bill over the last 25 years. Bill and his team are the most knowledgeable, professional, considerate and just a pleasure to do business with time over time. The Spa Shows that come to the various Fair Grounds are a joke. Those outfits are looking for a quick sale and you will never see those guys again. Bill and his team listen to your needs, follow up with information and if your luck enough, you will purchase a hot tub that will change your life. Now go back to Spas by the Bay right now and buy that tub. And maybe over time you will end up buying more than one. Have a great soak! JWC

As a novice spa owner, I find it necessary to share my experiences through this review, a departure from my usual aversion to negative critiques. My intention here is constructive rather than purely critical, with the hope of encouraging enhancements in customer service and client relations.My acquisition of a spa in June 2023 was marred by a series of setbacks. The initial delivery resulted in damage to the side panel, and an oversight led to the omission of my umbrella. The ensuing weeks were marked by a waiting game, awaiting panel repairs and the arrival of the omitted component. Furthermore, a promised orientation on spa operation, which was initially assured, remained elusive, necessitating multiple follow-up calls on my part.In my communications with the establishment, I encountered an individual named Monica, whose demeanor was regrettably discourteous. During our exchanges, she curtly dismissed my inquiries, citing an apparent unavailability to accommodate my questions due to the presence of in-store customers. The essence of my queries pertained to fundamental aspects of spa usage and a timeline for the scheduled orientation with Oscar, which remained pending.To exacerbate matters, the promised orientation was never scheduled, with Monica claiming, inaccurately, that I could only be available after 5 PM daily, without any inquiry into my actual availability, which notably fluctuated. Meanwhile, the company consistently emphasized consulting the owner's manual for guidance, rather than extending a receptive ear to clients' inquiries.In addition, I found discrepancies between the content of the owner's manual and the advice received on the application of spa chemicals. Despite receiving an email with spa tips, this counsel diverged from the guidance provided by Oscar upon his eventual visit. Presently, I find myself grappling with water quality issues, a particular challenge compounded by my use of well water.Today I reached out to the owner, Bill, in an attempt to obtain clarification on the spa water drainage process, a topic egregiously omitted during Oscar's visit. To my disappointment, these interactions were marked by a palpable reluctance to address my concerns, with Bill reiterating his recommendation to consult the owner's manual, despite my repeated assertions that Oscar had not provided this essential information during the initial orientation. His actual words to me “a customer who spends 10,000 on a spa should read their manual.”It is with a heavy heart that I express my dissatisfaction with this company's conduct. Their apparent disinterest in responding to legitimate inquiries fosters an environment where clients feel as if they are burdensome interlopers. With an investment exceeding $10, 000 in their establishment, I do not consider posing a few pertinent questions over the span of three months an unreasonable expectation.As an individual inexperienced in spa ownership, my apprehension regarding inadvertent mistakes is genuine. In this context, a minimal expectation would have entailed some empathy and a proactive effort to arrange an on-site tutorial on spa drainage as part of the promised orientation. Consequently, I am inclined to discourage prospective spa purchasers from considering this establishment, as the resultant frustration and bewilderment seem disproportionate to the resources invested. It is indeed disconcerting to witness such a disregard for client welfare in the realm of business.

Our neighbor recommended Spas By the Bay. Initially we were just going to buy one online, but we're glad we went to their store. You might be able to save some money buying a spa online, but the customer service here far outweighs any savings from an online retailer. Monica was so patient and helpful. Owner Bill answered a lot of our questions as well. We weren't able to be home when they delivered, but Oscar the installer called me while they were delivering to give me an update. The purchase, lead time, and delivery was smooth and seamless.

Located in an easy location, Spas by the Bay specializes in spas, but also barbecue islands, endless pools, and fireplace inserts. The staff are friendly and answered questions in a no pressure environment.We were looking for a new upgrade for our old spa. And while we didn't purchase anything during this visit, we are much more knowledgeable about what we want in a new spa.The showroom floor sported a number of 2022 and a few 2023 models, primarily Hot Spring brand spas in three collections: Highlife, Limelight, and Hot Spot. Highlife is the upper end spa while Hot Spot is more affordable. There were a couple of endless pools on the floor as well as a few barbecue islands. One wall is covered with fireplace inserts.Again, a nice, easy visit with sales staff very willing to answer all questions. Recommended if you're in the market for a new spa.

Great service, don’t just buy the cheapest spa you can find, buy your spa at a place that honors their warranties and has the technicians to fix your spa. This place has been in business for a long time and is honest. Recommended.

The buying process was good but I am still waiting for delivery and set up due to Covid related supply chain issues of 2020/2021. I'll update my rating and review once my spa is installed and running..... UPDATE 10/2022. Spa delivery was good and installation went smoothly despite a difficult to access patio location. After about 500 hot tubs (so far) I can say I am very pleased with my Hot spring Vanguard spa from Spas by the Bay. It works well, the jets are super powerful, almost overwhelmingly at first. It is easy to keep the spa balanced and water clear (after a month or wo of practice). They have also provided good customer assistance when buying new supplies at the store.
