Rooms were clean but the toilet was like black stains on there, and the bathtub had hair so it took a long time to drain the water but otherwise the room was clean and it smelt good when I walked in. The service was great. The front desk was super nice. The location also had a very beautiful view.

Quite a big hotel. Got lost in the hallways a few times. Very quiet place . Has a pool .. Perfect location. Located next to the del Monte shopping center.

Wonderful location, But, needs to prioterize room cleanliness. Exterior is run down and lacks up keep. Growing up to me, Red Lion had a legacy of being upper class, now its just grubby and unwelcoming, such a disappointment in beautiful Monterey, and it was nearly $200 a night, so many better places in town. Never again
