So sad this place closed with the most amazing staff. Walgreens bought out the chain and shut it down . It's a shame Walgreens did not keep it open. Thank you for years of helping our community stay healthy and positive ! You will be greatly missed as a very important part of our community ! !

Excellent selection of vitamins and supplements with a compound pharmacy in the back.Parking can be tight as it's shared with a Trader Joe's.

On trips to Traderer Joe's I had noticed this store but was always in a hurryto get back home. Yesterday, 10/9/20 I decided to stop in to Pharmacaand have a look around. What a lovely surprise it turned out to be.This store has a great ambience. It is truly a feast for the eyes too.I bought some face lotion and a soap and am thinking of getting myprescriptions from there also.There is an old world air about the store that felt very comforting to mealso. Our lives right now, have been turned upside down and we areall feeling a bit battered and bruised. My visit to Pharmaca not in somesmall measure healed my soul a bit.Employees, makes a store in many ways so, I am going to give a shout outto Laura. She was kind, efficient, and made my first visit to Pharmacaspecial. I look forward to seeing her next time I visit the store whichI have every intention of doing.This is truly a "gem" of a place. Monterey so lucky to have it!

I've taken my Rx's to Pharmaca since January of 2012. Besides professional and courteous service from the Pharmacists, techs. and the associates, they integrate, the actual store carries a wide variety of a multitude of health products and outstanding customer service. In addition to relying on Pharmaca for my medications, if for any reason the medications are unavailable, they make sure to immediately address the issue and order your medication. Obviously, the medication becomes available the following day. Also, a good tip: with ALL of my medications, I've made a habit of calling 24 to 48 hours in advance.Of-course, given the fact of the quantity and generally speaking a much smaller pharmacy.Overall, Pharmaca Integrative pharmacies offers Formulary medicines, a Doctorate of Holistic-supplemental Alternative medicines is actually on staff! Unfortunately, I'm dealing with several different types of Lower back, as well as Para-scapula chronic pain. The difference between Pharmaca and mostly ALL of the other pharmacies is the training every associate's received, and the service is "second to none."During a time when a National pandemic is rampant, the pressure in an increased demand for medication, as well overwhelmed patients; the Pharmacy staff remain Patient and with the upmost professionalism. Well stocked and prices are much better than Whole Foods on a lot of supplements. They also offer 10% off with Trader Joe’s receipt. The staff is super friendly but I had a great experience with Serena who went above and beyond to get me vitamins that had been sold out for awhile. Thank you!

Pharmaca is a notably unique business model. Combining a full-service, compounding pharmacy with an upscale selection of functional holistic skin care and makeup is such an innovative business. I have worked at old school health food stores, in the past, and find Pharmaca to be one of my favorite places to go. I now take a prescription that I pick up there, and the staff in the pharmacy has always been amazing! Thanks to Valerie, I feel like. VIP on every visit. Additionally, the naturopath-Dr. Ashleigh Putnam-is such a great resource. I feel lucky to have found her through Pharmaca. I am a devoted patient, and seek her out in her private practice regularly. Pharmaca is also the only place I can walk in and get my favorite Jane Airedale basics, like my favorite lip gloss, Kir Royale, and my powder foundation. Great spot!

I hate going to the pharmacy. When we went into Pharmaca, it was like I couldn't stop putting things into my cart. It is a really great place and the staff is so helpful. They even gave me advice that could have led to me going to a different store. I can't wait to go back.
