My husband bought a muffin tin at this store less than 24 hours ago. Wishing to return it, I brought it back with the Visa receipt given to him. The woman, who was the only person allowed to deal with returns refused to take it back even tho I had the receiptShe said she needed the store printout that said what the $20 product was, in addition to my approved Visa receipt. It is my understanding that proof of purchase is sufficient to return to this store and certainly an untouched (all packaging was intact)Item. My husband does not recall being given additional paperwork for this purchase yet our proof of purchase is insufficient for this place???Who runs a business with this lack of courtesy and customer service? DO NOT PATRONISE .

This store is awesome. I come in for items for our deli and always buy gadgets for home or gifts. The selection is wow! The lady that helped me was very nice and helpful. I always recommend this shop to others and they are happy coming in to scout out the selections! Thank you ?

Went in to look for blades for a lame. None found but the next best thing, a new one that was the same price as blades online! Also looking for a special silicon spatula to dig the expensive cream out of a bottle! Yay, they found the perfect thing! Now we need a casserole pot and a marble block for baking! Guess where we're going?!

They will not allow returns after two weeks like every other retailer. They are rude about the policy saying we should have read the receipt. They would not even allow store credit for a couple of glasses that would not fit in a rack and had to be returned.

They really have it all when it comes to kitchen supplies, gadgets and appliances. Lots of price points and great options for gifts or if you’re looking for something for your home.

Driving down lighthouse my wife and I saw this place and it looked interesting for those who like kitchen stuff. We went in and they have a huge selection of kitchen items for the home and professional chef. Unfortunately they also have a employee who after asking if we needed help we replied " no right now we are just looking " continued to follow us around the store and pretend to clean something on the isle over. As we went through the store there she was wiping something one isle over. It was very obvious she was not there to answer questions but to make sure we knew she was watching us as she presumed that we were there to shoplift. This made us very uncomfortable and annoyed. As we did purchase a few items and were paying for them I did point out these feelings to this person and told her that we would not return all I got was head down and she walked away. I certainly hope they don't treat everyone like this and do some employee training on customer service.

They have a large and extensive variety of supplies but the owner is one of the most disgusting and unprofessional people I've ever ever met. He has cursed at customers and employees numerous times over the years that I've frequented the store. I will never go back to the store under any circumstances. By online.

you might be able to find something but don't ask the owner - so grumpy and it is more expensive than expected for example twice as much for better quality at a chef's store. I have purchased items and found some things but the guy is not a welcoming presence and you can't look around without a snide remark.

I was not surprised to see this business has 2 1/2 stars l. In my opinion, this guy is not A good business man. Despite things I've heard from the restaurant owners I have still giving him my business on many occasions. I bought a part for an appliance after an employee told me it was the part I needed. It turned out to not be compatible. I called them 10 minutes after I left the place to tell them that and ask them if I could come return it and that's when they told me they didn't give any refunds, I thought that was ridiculous considering the employee told me it was the correct item. The lady then told me she could give me store credit but only if I come back within 14 days. Once I arrived a week later, the other lady told me I needed to go ask the owner for the store credit so I did, and he said "no, I could just exchange it." I told them they did not have the part I needed, but In a very rude and dismissive way, he told me to go pick something else. Now let's talk about the prices. Highly overpriced in my opinion! I have seen things on Amazon that are made by the same manufacturer for half the price. Do yourself a favor and order from Amazon. You can easily find one day shipping. Then, when he goes out of business, he will realize that taking care of his employees and his customers is vital to a business being successful.Lastly, I think Alyssa and Cooper's reviews might not be legitimate. I speculate, this guy is trying to fix his terrible rating. Just my opinion.

It's unreal that we have a local store with that much inventory in stock! Every time I go in I've had great customer service and found exactly what I was looking for. Definitely a local gem!

Seeing a lot of bad reviews here...and then reading where customers are denied use of gift cards because it's "expired." That is 100% against the law in California! The business owner must abide by California law and honor the gift card. You may also have the legal right to get the cash back! So, you can go elsewhere because this doesn't see like a good business to support. If you have a gift card to use here and they tell you it's expired, inform them that that is an illegal business practice. Look it up. Report them to the BBB and/or DCA. Call you local representatives offices, they have people to help with these issues. dca.ca.gov/publications/…To the owner: clean up your business practices. Get informed. Know the law. Ignorance is never an excuse for breaking the law.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS! I really wish zero stars was an option. I have a $200 gift certificate given to me by a friend last year. Now that the holidays are over (Dec 26th) I called to ask if I could redeem the certificate. The certificate says it expires 1 year from purchase date, it is 5 days past that date. They said, "no, we can't be doing that" Seems a bit like stealing to me. My friends gave them $200 to support their new location and they wont flex at all. I told them that I thought it was really sad that this is how they're doing business and she hung up on me. The truth hurts I guess. Skip shopping here. I'd rather shop big box than support thieves.

I had occasion to revisit this store as they carried an item I needed post haste. I found the owner helpful and accommodating, a Dr. Jekyll version of the Mr. Hyde I had encountered in a prior visit. This business has a significant depth and breadth of inventory. For items not needed immediately, it likely would pay to shop around for price comparisons. For immediate need items, especially for professional kitchens, it is unique to the area.
