I have had two excellent therapists at this location, Kim and Claire. Both of them work with me on my specific needs, and our communication during our sessions is excellent. Both are very responsive to in the moment suggestions -- too much, could be more there -- and I got great results. Very professional, well trained therapists.

Booked a hot stone massage with Kim, and it was amazing. I came in with a big knot in my upper back and left feeling like a new person. Highly recommend this place!

Same as another person here mentions. Management has no idea what does "Good Customer Service" means. I've made a reservation and they asked me my CC for reservation. About a week in advance from my reservation date I called and cancelled my appointment.
This was 3 years ago!!! Since then every January they are putting an automatic charge to my CC. I told them three times already, once in 2014, 2015 and now 2016 to STOP CHARGING MY CARD and take my name off their list.
Seems NOT worked so far! Easiest solution to this I guess I have to get a new CC and cancel my current one!
A corporation must not attach themselves to a customers bank accounts like a leech!

I can't speak for everyone or every therapist but just had a couples massage with my girlfriend. I had Michael and damn it was good. One of the best massages I have received from the company and I've been a member for several years now. Perfect amount of pressure and very relaxing. It was great. Wish I lived closer and could come back more often but I will be sure to come back and visit here again for a massage. Thank you.

Massage Envy in Monterey is the place to be.! The front desk is the best I've ever experienced. So friendly and accommodating. And the Therapist.?!? Omg. No comparison. I'm So glad that I found this place! definitely a must visit.! But don't take it from me.! Check them out yourself. You won't regret it.

I have a monthly membership with massage envy, which means I have prepaid massage credits always stored up. This store said I made an appointment and then charged me 2 hrs off my account for an appointment I didn't make and don't show up for. The appointment I didn't make was apparently for 1.5hrs but I was charged 2 hrs for the appointment. Not I'm out $130 for a massage I didn't even get. I know I didn't make the mistake of making a massage and forgetting because I have a full time job, go to school full time and have kids. It takes a lot of pre planning to have time to get a massage. I don't just make them causally.

I was thrilled to hear they opened a Massage Envy in Monterey. Kathy is amazing at the front desk and never misses a beat. McKenna is magic with facials and chem peels. I just can't say enough about how awesome this team is and I always look forward to seeing them. Thank you!!!!

The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. It's very helpful that they have parking spots for the clients, especially in that area where parking can be hard to get at times.

One star is generous. It's amazing that all Massage Envy's are separately owned. As a franchise there are guidelines to follow. Those guidelines only comes into affect per franchise that suits them. I have been to a lot of professional massage facilities but Massage Envy doesn't fall under that professional category. When I was in South Carolina I went to have massage at the teaching school of massage. The massage therapist at Massage Envy give the same treatment like they are back in school. It's a 50 minute massage. Several times during the session they waste time tucking in the sheets and also before every other section of your body they adjust constantly. Meanwhile your paying for 60 minutes but with all the preparations your getting a 40 minute massage. Other massage places have a bottle of water for you after your session they give tap water. I belong to another Massage Envy we're my membership is lower rate. Policy is if you go to another facility and the price is lower you don't get credit but if the price is higher you pay the difference. In Monterey I asked as a member and asked for a different massage therapist in my time slot they refused with attitude. I called to cancel my membership at my primary location they accepted but still charged for the monthly dues because I didn't cancel within a certain time period. Finally I would suggest find a professional massage therapist that is loyal to your needs and will work with you otherwise your paying for unprofessional people.I just got a response from Monterey Massage Envy with a link. My response except the criticism. Also beware I canceled my membership immediately and still got charged for monthly membership. This franchise is a total Ripoff.

My spouse and I are here in Monterey for a little weekend getaway and saw the sign for Massage Envy. we both hav e never had massages before and it was our first time. Our experience was outstanding! The staff were so nice, walked us through everything, checked to make sure we were comfortable and were superb at their profession. The location is perfect, the parking was close and there was availability and the office itself was very clean and inviting. 10/10 would come here again! If you're looking for a great place to get a massage, this is it.

Great location and friendly staff. My only complaint is that you never get the full treatment. You pay for 1.30 minutes, and they always end 10 minutes early.
