Visiting from North Carolina and took a stroll downtown and happened upon this gem of a store. I was greeted and attended to by the sweetest lady, and quite stylish if I may say. She went out of her way to help me find a really cute ring for "everyday wear". I also picked up a cute pair of earrings.

The purses are so intelligently designed, with a classic sense of elegance, and the quality is stunning given the prices. The zippers on many are real brass, not cheap aluminum, and the leather is extra strong, something I personally need, since I'm so rough with my purses. She can sometimes customize the purse accessories too. Oh, and the silver jewelry from Italy is always changing. Once she knows what you like, she begins looking for it for you from her suppliers. I feel I have a lasting business relation with her.

Hands down the best shop in Monterey! Located in the heart of Monterey, around the area where you can shop and eat local. The owner is also the designer! She designs the most unique well made leather purses. She has fine jewelry at ridiculously low prices. She gives you a deal. I love stopping by whenever I'm in town. I highly recommend checking out this spot in Monterey. I get so many compliments on my purses. :)

I loved this place. Me and my husband were just strolling around downtown Monterey and this store caught our eye. The store had exotic collection of purses and jewelry. The owner, Maryse herself is a passionate jewelry and handbag designer. While I was loving everything in the store, one particularly rare gem of necklace caught my eye. It was incredibly beautiful. One could see this necklace was a wonderful piece of art, love and passion. It looked both exotic and expensive but Maryse listed it for just $10. God bless her! I was overjoyed and got it at once. I was thrilled at my discovery of this unique store. When visiting downtown Monterey, do not forget to take a peek at this store, who knows you'll find something fascinating just as I did!!!

Maryse is amazing and the purses and jewlery are intoxicating! I am not really a purse girl...well I wasn't before walking into her shop. I got the most perfect black leather bag. I broke the clasp and took it back- she got it fixed very quickly with no charge. When I went to pick it up I I spotted the most beautiful stingray bag and wallet. They were so striking thatl I had to get them as well as one one for my sister in law. I also found a beautiful amethst ring that trip. She also donated an eel skin bag for a fund raiser I am attending later this month. Maryse is a generous, beautiful woman! I hope her business thrives for years to come in!

My husband and I stopped by on a whim but came out with a beautiful purse and several fun jewelry pieces. Maryse was so knowledgeable and pleasant. She made suggestions but was never pushy. My husband isn't a "shopper" but he too loved the exotic handbags and unique jewelry. Prices are so reasonable -- this will be a store I will return to for many years to come.

What a great find! I walked in because I was drawn in by the sign saying 60% off fine jewelery. I wasn't so sure because all I saw were purses, but I got a gorgeous silver necklace for a little over $30, and the woman was really helpful. She wasn't pushy, and she swapped out the chain for one that was a better length, and even gave me one that was a little better quality. I was pretty impressed withe the jewelery selection--mostly contemporary, pretty unique. The woman there said she is a jeweler, but sells purses mainly. When talking to her about the jewelery you could see that she was knowledgeable and passionate about her work. If you are into silver, this is a good place to go.

Love, love, love Maryse, the store and the owner! This place is a purse lady's heaven with a huge variety of styles and leathers in this store. Everything I put my hands on just felt so soft and luxurious. Luckily Maryse is a super nice lady and totally indulged me. She has fine Italian leather but most impressive is her collection of exotic leathers. Her prices are amazing and for a place with such high end quality goods, Maryse is super friendly and is very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does. Doesn't matter where you are, it's totally worth a trip to Monterey to check this store out.
