“I purchased new Kolbe and Kolbe Windows about 5 years ago from Doc Henry to replace old windows in my 1935 bungalow. Doc was patient and very helpful choosing the right colors to compliment my house and they are now the jewels that make it shine. Because retrofits in old homes can create the need for tweaks as the years go by, I have always been able to count on Doc of Benchmark Windows to be there for me. He is a person of utmost integrity who stands by his products and makes sure all issues are addressed promptly. This is very important to me. I have been building and remodeling homes for the last 20 years and having a reliable, competent company for Windows and doors is of critical! So many vendors do not stand behind their products and once you have a problem and they don't want to be responsible? Well, then you have REAL problems. Doc has helped me out even when it wasn't his responsibility because that's the kind of person he is: helpful, courteous, knowledgable, professional and full of integrity. And his products are of exceptional quality. I cannot recommend Benchmark Windows highly enough!”

“I live in Southern California and I am known at my Ace Hardware Store in Woodland Hills. I LOVE my Ace Hardware Store; friendly, informative and HELPFUL and EASY. So when we were visiting family in Northern California and my inlaws need, of all things, rat traps I went looking for the nearest Ace Hardware Store at 401 Mid Valley Way. Of course the store was perfect and compared in all ways to my home store in Southern California. EXCEPT this store had something my store does not have. Her name is Vicki and she ran the cash register. CHERRFUL, as she investigated if found everything I needed, POLITE as she was PROFESSIONAL. This employee has wonderful people skills. By the time I left this store this employee made feel as welcome as I do in my neighborhood Ace Hardware Store. Vicki, I hope the owner of the store realizes what an asset you are to his bottom line. Because of you Vicki, I told the family that they will change their where they get their Hardware store needs to Ace Hardware at 401 Mid valley Way. “I visited Home Depot recently and was quite impressed with the store itself. The wide range of products and helpful staff made my shopping experience enjoyable. However, I did find the parking lot a bit challenging to navigate. Overall, a great store with room for improvement in the parking area. May need to open another location at the rate people visit here. lol”
“Very friendly staff. I visited a few times while I was working in Monterey. On one occasion I was looking for a specific slip resistant additive and I called on the phone to see if they carried it. M&S did not carry it, but the person on the phone told me he was looking online and it was available at Sherwin Williams. I went to Sherwin Williams to pick it up. This was a huge help to me as I didn't know the area, so thank you for looking out for your new customer! It was a very pleasant and surprising gesture and would make me want to continue patronizing your business.”
