I loved shopping here on my frequent visits to Monterey. Always high quality merchandise, and outstanding customer service. My favorite part was the basement, where they carried all the cooking supplies. Excellent choices for plates and fabulous pans. And always a good selection of Kithen Aid products for my mixer. Mens department always carried Ralph Lauren. My favorite brand. Plus other 1st class clothing. A great store.

We arrived at 848pm on December 26, 2023 and they were already closed. This is false advertisement and not good customer service. They also locked customers in the building which is against the law and unsafe! Managers need to be written up

We had just a terrible time trying to spend money here. I was planning on buying a suit, a sportscoat with slacks and shoes for my wife. I looked through the men's suits for nearly an hour and never could find someone to help me. I finally gave up and went to the Levi's area and found some Dockers with absolutely no help from anyone. No one even acknowledged my presence. I took my pants to the checkout station and he was very nice. I had planned to spend $600-$700 and spent $35 instead I can get better service on the internet, maybe that is their plan.

Asked for help in the men's department and was quickly assisted by Matthew Irving. He's a stylist specialist at Macys and sure does know how to dress and assist customers. He picked out a few suits for my Dad to try on, gave suggestions on shirt and tie Within 30 minutes my dad was done with the task of buying a two piece suit, dress shirt, a tie and shoes to wear at his grandsons wedding. Mathew has excellent fashion taste. He was wearing a black two piece suit and was dressed to a T! He knows style and is doing an excellent job.

Did I miss a meeting? There is barely any inventory. Where is the Style and Co. or Charter Club section? It looked like a going out of business sale. This used to be a vibrant store w/tons of merchandise. Now over half of the 2nd floor is childrens/ToysRus. What a shame. Perhaps the pandemic isn't the reason that business is bad. Perhaps it's the fact that there's nothing to purchase and a lack of personnel to oversee the sales floor.

I am so tired of Macy's coups not working on anything in my cart! I waste time filing my cart only to learn that the coupons are invalid with the items I selected. There was a time when they were good on just about everything. I will limit my time at Macys from now on. It's just a waste of my tome. So sad.

I ordered some items online & when I went to pick them up just a free gift was missing. It wasn't a big deal. The associate said he would give me a call once they figured it out. He never did. They sent me a questionnaire regarding my purchase. I said what happened & wasn't expecting a reply. Well, Pam - the manager emailed me and went above and beyond to fix this little mistake. I was impressed & pretty shocked actually. She definitely scored points with me for how quick , efficient, & kind she was about this little matter. Thank you again Pam!!

I made an appointment with their stylist, Matthew was AMAZING! I completely lack style, my children hate to shop and are hard to dress. But Matthew hooked us up. He did all the selecting, they tried things on, and left with about 6 tops and 6 bottoms for two children for under $350. Big recommend! Will be back! Matthew is AMAZING! Personal shopper is the way to go for people who don't like to shop. Super happy I tried the shopper experience and super happy it is available!

I am not yelping the employees at the store but I AM giving the online LACK of customer service. I have spent an hour on the phone with the customer DISSERVICE just to be messed with by these so called customer service people who reside in the Philippines. They absolutely play games on the phone, lie, give you the run around (purposely). So if you are like me and stay loyal to a business that cares about their customer then DONT SHOP HERE!

Macy's at Del Monte Center has gone down hill since it's glory days about 15 years ago when they had nice merchandise and helpful staff. The merchandise now is cheap, ugly, and of poor quality! And the staff is useful and deceptive. My husband made the mistake of buying me some horrendous looking, man-made, sandals for Christmas and when he tried to return them today, they said, "Sorry, you should've read the fine print." In the past, sales associates would let the customer know if items were non-returnable. Not anymore, I guess they are just desperate for any dollars they could bring in to try and save their failing business model.

Very low staffing levels. Available staff works very slowly! After purchasing, no bags are available! Are you kidding? It's Christmas and most people are buying multiple items and leaving with them in their arms! Get it together Macys!!!
