My car got bombed with gull poop parking at the nearby marina so did the basic $15 wash. The wash was simple and effective, although there were traces of some of the tougher bird poop stains that wiped pff with a microfiber cloth when I got home. So I’d the wash was 95% effective. They are in a convenient spot and their staff are friendly so I’d go back again.

It’s just a more expensive drive thru car wash where they hand dry it at the end.

I have taken many cars to El Estero Car wash. Never again.
I have owned my 2001 car since new so I know everything about it. I took it in for a wash and it was damaged by them. Some where between my giving them the car to vacuum and ready for pick up, the small quarter window sun shade was pulled out and damaged. It was pulled out hard enough that it broke. The manager and I reviewed their video tapes. They are of poor quality, wrong angle, and are useless to get a view of what happened. All I know is that this shade were not closed when I took the car in, (none of the other shades were closed), and it were damaged while they were cleaning the car. The manager basically insinuated I was untruthful. I just got a quote for $400. to replace the window shade. Never again.

Went in on Sunday morning, not very busy. In an out in 40 mins.
Got the top level wash and interior. They did a good job on outside and superficial vacuum on inside. I was disappointed because the dash and center console were not cleaned at all.

I wanted to love this place - the people are sweet and the shop is charming and they are fast. I’ve given it 4 solid tries as my husband bought me a gift card for five washes. These past two times I’ve upgraded to the most expensive $38 wash and expressly asked for the inside of my car to be wiped down to which they assured me would be done. When complete, all mats were dusty, interior dusty, back seat dusty. They had not even wiped down the front dash. I asked them to fix it, they did the bare minimum and did the two front mats. It’s definitely a bit awkward to ask for a service that you’ve already paid for to be done…more than once. I still tipped and thanked them, but left unhappy and honestly felt weird asking them a second time to fix it. So if you are looking for your car to be fully clean even with the most expensive wash, don’t go here.

Definitely the best car wash on the Monterey Peninsula without a doubt! Every time I come here my car looks amazing every time and the crew is totally awesome from the people that work the cash register all the way to the people that vacuum your car I give this place two thumbs up????

Decent job on an interior detail service. Communication is terrible and the wait is literally all day for detail service. I arrived at 9am waited 2 hours for them to tell me to come back at 5pm and didn’t even call me to tell me that it was actually done sooner. Ridiculous…

I normally do not post low reviews, but after spending $50 on a premium wash, my car was still dirty. I understand the guys get busy, but there was no detail involved at all. I drove away very disappointed. I will be washing my car myself, moving forward. Do not recommend, sorry.

Quick service, excellent car wash. Kick back and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee on the house while you wait. Big screen TV in the waiting area with plenty seating. Nice clean bathroom. Do some gift shopping in the little entryway. Friendly cashier always pleasant.
