As others have said the customer service is HORRIBLE here... downright rude to customers. To the purple haired girl today who was so so rude to me and my mother, i know your life is terrible and your working the register at big 5. But try to put a smile on when your at work. And try to be the least bit helpful. Wow

I typically don't complain about a bad experiences, but in this case I have to say something! ALWAYS A GREAT EXPERIENCE when I visit this location. Staff is always super friendly, helpful, and willing to help. So please let the staff know they are appreciated and I always enjoy my shopping experiences when I visit. Thank you monterey for being better than the rest. .

Never knew this existed, strange location with parking way in the back. They had the right size cleats though, seems like a good store with plenty of selection.

Great store, great help. Alfredo in the shoe department worked hard, going back and forth for multiple customers simultaneously while delivering the correct requests.

They do not allow PAYING CUSTOMERS to use the restroom. I had a shopping cart with many items, but wanted to use the restroom before I continue shopping. Shocked to discover that there was no bathroom FOR CUSTOMERS. I abandoned the shopping cart in the store, and proceeded to Walmart, where I found all of my needs at a lower cost, AND a convenient restroom.

This store outfitted me with my Asics trail running shoes, hiking boots, and my waterproof high quality Columbia puffed slicker jacket. After coming here, I was ready to embark on all my favorite central cal bay area activities :) Great service. Great selection. Reasonable prices :)
