“I am on a loooong bike tour around the US and needed a couple of issues with my bicycle checked out. I was surprised when I checked on-line and found multiple bike shops to be open on Sunday. Looking at the on-line reviews led to a decision to go to Peninsula Bike Works. Although he was “booked out until Tuesday”, Nico understood my need for immediate service and went to work on my bike. While he worked, he answered my various questions concerning the issues with my bike, what he was doing to correct them and general questions about bike parts and maintenance. Also being very familiar with the local area, he provided me with an improved route for where I wanted to go and let me use the shop’s internet to replan my route and send it to my Garmin. AMAZING SERVICE!!! I was on my way with an improved route on my improved bicycle!”

“My girlfriend and I brought our bikes with us on our trip to Monterey. Her bike had some issues, which we think happened on our 3-hour drive into the area. I forgot to bring tools, so I stopped by Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bike Shop to see if they sold the tools I'd need to get her bike tuned up. The woman who helped me said they didn't have tools for sale, but they'd be able to tune her bike up. Once I explained we'd left the bike behind, the person helping loaned me her own personal tools. When I told her it'd probably be about 40 minutes before we could get her tools back to her, she said it wouldn't be a problem. It was so nice, generous, and trusting of her to loan us her tools. Thank you for saving our riding weekend for us!”
